Quickview Card, Dice & Party GamesYou are head of a family in an Italian city-state, a city run by a weak and corrupt court. You need to manipulate, bluff and bribe your way to power. Your object is to destroy the influence of all the other families, forcing them into exile. Only one family will survive. In Coup, you want to be the last player with influence in the game, with influence being represented by face-down character cards in your playing area. Each player starts the game with two coins and two influence – i.e. two face-down character cards; the fifteen card deck consists of three copies of five different characters, each with a distinct set of powers. When you take one of the character actions – whether actively on your turn, or defensively in response to someone else's action – that character's action automatically succeeds unless an opponent challenges you. In this case, if you can't (or don't) reveal the appropriate character, you lose an influence, turning one of your characters face-up. Face-up characters cannot be used, and if both of your characters are face-up, you're out of the game. If you do have the character in question and choose to reveal it, the opponent loses an influence, then you shuffle that character into the deck and draw a new one, perhaps getting the same character again and perhaps not. The last player to still have influence - that is, a face-down character - wins the game.

Quickview Card, Dice & Party Games, Party GamesScrawl: The Adult Party Game of Dirty Doodles and Godawful Guesses Everyone has a dirty mind. You. Your friends. Your friend's friends. The list goes on. Luckily, there are a wealth of adult party games that can help you channel that adult humour you crave so badly - and we've just added another one to the list. It's called Scrawl and it's a game about doodling your way to disaster. Unlike most party games, this is one where you'll create your own adult content. You just get a nudge in the right direction - in the form of cat orgies, bum chins and OAP conga lines. How do you play? Each player starts with a clipboard, a stack of whiteboard paper and a very questionable Scenario Card ('Octopus Mating Season', for example). Everyone then has to do their best at illustrating their scenario before passing it over to the player on their left. This player, having no idea what the original scenario was, clips another page over it and attempts to describe the picture underneath. The clipboards are then passed along once more, with the next player attempting to illustrate the new description in front of them. This continues until each of the clipboards have been returned to their original owners. Once the contents of the clipboards are displayed for all to see, players vote for their favourites in a run.
Quickview Card, Dice & Party Games, Party GamesEveryone knows the secret word for the round except for the Chameleon. But who is the Chameleon? Each round, every player gets to say just one word to each other in order to prove their innocence and single out the imposter. Choose a word that’s too obvious and the Chameleon might catch on. Choose a word that’s too vague and people might start thinking that you’re the guilty one. Players will need to use all their cunning, team work and witch-hunting skills if they want to succeed. If you’re the Chameleon, however, the rules are much more simple. Don’t. Get. Caught.
