Scrawl Drawing Party Game – Big Potato Games

    , ,
Scrawl: The Drawing Party Game of Weird Doodles and Godawful Guesses Everyone has a weird mind. You. Your friends. Your friend's friends. The list goes on. Luckily, there are a wealth of  party games that can help you channel that odd humour you crave so badly - and we've just added another one to the list. It's called Scrawl and it's a game about doodling your way to disaster. Unlike most party games, this is one where you'll create your own bizarre content. You just get a nudge in the right direction - in the form of snail jockeys, bum chins and foam parties. How do you play? Each player starts with a clipboard, a stack of whiteboard paper and a very questionable Scenario Card ('Freezing your own head', for example). Everyone then has to do their best at illustrating their scenario before passing it over to the player on their left. This player, having no idea what the original scenario was, clips another page over it and attempts to describe the picture underneath. The clipboards are then passed along once more, with the next player attempting to illustrate the new description in front of them. This continues until each of the clipboards have been returned to their original owners. Once the contents of the clipboards are displayed for all to see, players vote for their favourites in a run.

Weird Things Humans Search For Game (Mini UK Version) – Big Potato Games

    ,
A mini version of the amazingly brilliant, award-winning party game, Weird Things Humans Search For... First things first, choose a player to be the Search Master for the game. They’ll be acting like a normal quiz master, reading out the questions and keeping score. Everyone else, split into teams of two or three and grab a pencil and some paper. The Search Master begins by reading out the first half of a popular internet search, like: “Why do I have so much…” Each team must now try and guess the most popular ending to the internet search. Teams get to write down two guesses: one main guess and one bonus guess. When all the teams have decided on their final answers, the Search Master reads out the list of searches, starting with the most popular one. Then it’s time to count up the points. Your main answer is the one you want to be extra sure about. If it’s the first search on the list, you score four points. If it’s second you score three points, then two if it’s anywhere else. If your bonus answer appears on the list, you get one point – no matter where it is. When you’re done, grab a new Search Card and go again. After five rounds, the team with the most points, wins!

Colour Brain mini version by Big Potato Games

Colour Brain Game (Mini Version) – Big Potato Games

    , ,
Welcome to the quiz with two twists: Firstly, all the answers are colours. Secondly, we give you all the answers before you start! With 11 colour cards in your hand, all you have to do is work out which cards to play to answer the 120 brand new questions we've written for you. Get ready to think in colour in this mini-version of Colour Brain! To start, deal out 11 Colour Cards to each player: red, blue, yellow, black, white, brown, grey, purple, orange, green and pink. Each round, you’ll face a question that can be answered by one (or more) of the Colour Cards in your hand. Decide which to put down, then place them in front of you (face down). When you’re all ready, flip them over! Turn over the Question Card and reveal the correct colours. You only score points if at least one of the other teams got the answer wrong. So, if everyone gets it wrong, no one scores anything – but if everyone gets it right, no one scores anything either! In our example, two players got it wrong, so the player that got it right scores two points. If you notice someone getting a bit too far ahead, then don’t worry. Each player has a Colour Capture Card to use once in the game. Play this before a new question to steal a bunch of Colour Cards from their hand (for one round only). Keep turning over new questions until a player scores 10 points and wins the game!
