Black Powder: Vive l’Empereur! (French Peninsular Veterans)
Black Powder, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesMurdering their way out of a Spanish prison hulk, Chef de battalion François Léon de Rochebaron and his loyal band of followers began their journey into infamy. After the brutal experience at the hands of his Spanish captors, the once honourable de Rochebaron swore unwavering vengeance on the enemies of France. Thus the legend of the 'The Butchers' of the 73rd Line Regiment was born. In battle, no quarter was ever given as they became the scourge of the Spanish peninsular. It was only when les Bouchers met an English battalion at Grijo in 1809 did they finally meet men who could match their ignoble method of waging war. During the battle, De Rochebaron fought a bloody and protracted duel with an English Captain, matched in its viciousness by the scrap at their feet between his beloved poodle, Fifi and the British mongrel, Duchess. While all combatants survived this encounter, they swore to meet again and settle the matter. Cast in the finest Warlord Resin, these superb miniatures are dripping with character – from the vengeful, Rochebaron down to the regiment's mascot, Fifi the poodle.Original price was: £29.50.£23.60Current price is: £23.60. -
Black Powder: O’er the Hills and Far Away (British Peninsular Veterans)
Black Powder, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe 3rd Battalion of Detachments, struck from all official records, exemplified Brigadier General Alan Campbell’s view, “I have collected several detachments of recovered men belonging to Sir J. Moore’s army, whom I found scattered in all directions, without necessaries, and some of them committing every possible excess that could render the name of a British soldier odious to the nation.” During the Douro campaign and capture of the city of Oporto in 1809, the 3rd Battalion had its first taste of action near the village of Grijo. There they crossed bayonets with the infamous French regiment, les Bouchers (the Butchers). The bloody encounter was also notable for the savage dog fight between Duchess, the 3rd’s bull terrier mascot, and the French poodle, Fifi, both animals leaving their mark. These exceptional miniatures are oozing character and cast in finest Warlord Resin are a must for any self-respecting (and those not quite so self-respecting) Napoleonic British wargamer.Original price was: £29.50.£23.60Current price is: £23.60. -

The winter of 1944-45 was a cold one in north-west Europe, and the GIs who would find themselves in desperate combat during the Battle of the Bulge in the forests of the Ardennes would discover that the weather was almost as much of a foe as the enemy troops. Digging into the frozen ground became incredibly difficult, and the men were grateful for every piece of winter clothing they could get their hands on. Bolt Action: German Heer Winter Starter Army
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesAdolf Hitler's aggressive campaign across the world ensured his troops would face the enemy in all environments and climates. None were more unforgiving than the harsh winters on the Eastern Front or in the Italian hills and mountains. The resourceful German Lander often had to make do with little more than their standard-issue woollen greatcoat gloves, scarves and a steely determination to not stave off only the cold, but also be able to fight and win. This boxed set is a great starting point for a Winter German Heer force, whether you intend to campaign in the Battle of the Bulge, the cold Italian winters, or the bitter struggle on the Ostfront. Bolt Action: British Royal Navy Section
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe British Royal Navy has a centuries-long distinguished history and a reputation for excellence. During the early 20th century Britannia continued to rule the waves. Spread around the globe, Royal Navy ships were able to put ashore units of armed sailors as landing parties, shore patrols or in boarding actions against other vessels. Armed primarily with the reliable Lee Enfield rifle and often supported by a Lewis machine gun, sections of highly disciplined and well-equipped naval ratings with considerable experience of close combat fighting are a fearsome opponent. As the Second World War progressed this role would also be taken on by Khaki-uniformed Royal Navy Commando or Royal Marine sections though naval shore parties were still in action throughout the war. Clad in their dark blue uniforms and 1908 pattern webbing these Jack Tars will provide a dash of colour to an otherwise khaki British force. Contains 10 metal figures - 1 petty officer with SMG, 2-man Lewis Gun LMG team and 7 sailors with rifles (3 with Molotov cocktails), plastic bases and 1 Bolt Action order dice.Original price was: £26.50.£21.20Current price is: £21.20. -

During the war, Italian Alpini divisions saw combat in Albania, France, Greece and Yugoslavia, as well as in the Soviet Union and even as far afield as East Africa. After the armistice in 1943, the 3rd Alpini Division joined the Allied cause while the 4th Alpini Division continued to fight alongside Germany. Bolt Action: Italian Alpini Support Group
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesContaining a medium machine gun team, a medium mortar team, two officers, a medic helping a comrade, and a radio operator that would serve well as a forward observer, this Support Group boxed set is the ideal basis of an Italian Alpini Heavy Weapons Platoon! It also provides you with three Bolt Action Order Dice to use them in game. Breda M37 Medium Machine Gun Team (0-5 per Heavy Weapons Platoon): The most successful and most commonly used machine gun in Italian service was the Breda M37 8mm air-cooled weapon. A medium machine gun team is capable of laying down a withering hail of fire, the bane of enemy infantry caught out in the open. Medium Mortar team (0-5 per Heavy Weapons Platoon): Like so many nations, the Italian Army made good use of mortars, such as the Mortaio da 81/14 Modello. A medium mortar lobs shells high over the battlefield. Inaccurate at first, they range in over the course of a game, provided their targets don’t move, of course. HQ (1 Officer Team per Platoon, 0-1 Medic per Rifle Platoon, 0-1 Forward Observer per Rifle Platoon): For every platoon in your army, you’ll need a Platoon Commander. This box contains two officers, which can be used as commanders for any platoon type, a forward observer, which could easily act as spotter or as a an extra man in your officer team, and a medic to serve in a Rifle Platoon. Box contains four metal Italian HQ figures, one metal Breda M37 Medium Machine Gun with three Italian Alpini crew, one metal Medium Mortar with three Italian Alpini crew, three Bolt Action Order dice, and plastic bases.Original price was: £29.50.£23.60Current price is: £23.60. -
Bolt Action: Italian Alpini Weapons Teams
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesInfantry weapons teams are a key component of any Bolt Action army, providing great tactical flexibility for your force. This boxed set provides your Italian Alpini army with three of the most prevalent and useful such teams, as well as Bolt Action Order Dice to field them, arming you with the tools to tackle a variety of battlefield situations, and presenting your opponent with multiple challenges to overcome. It contains: Anti-Tank Team (0-1 per Rifle Platoon or 0-3 per Heavy Weapons Platoon): The Solothurn anti-tank rifle was a cross between a true anti-tank rifle and a light anti-tank gun. Anti-tank teams are ideally suited for hunting lighter enemy vehicles, like transports, armoured cars and light tanks. Sniper Team (0-1 per Rifle Platoon): The Italian army had no specialist sniper rifle, but a skilled marksman could make any scoped rifle deadly enough. In Bolt Action, snipers are accurate, long-range weapons that deny their targets the benefits of cover, and can pick out enemy squad leaders and NCOs from within a squad. Light Mortar Team (0-2 per Rifle Platoon or 0-5 per Heavy Weapons Platoon): The Brixia 45mm light mortar was a powerful and successful weapon in the hands of properly trained soldiers. Light mortars lob shells high over the field, at a relatively short range. Though they are inaccurate at first (not that a lucky six won’t result in an early hit!) they get more accurate as they range in, provided the target stays put! They are also capable of firing smoke shells to lay down a smoke screen for your troops as they advance. Box contains six Warlord Resin Italian Alpini figures, three Bolt Action Order dice, and plastic bases.Original price was: £16.00.£12.75Current price is: £12.75. -
Bolt Action: Puma Sd.Kfz 234/2 Armoured Car
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe Puma is, arguably, one of the best-looking armoured cars of WWII. A variant of the Sdkfz 234 it boasted a fully enclosed turret with a 5cm gun and thicker armour than other variants. Despite this additional armour the Puma was still capable of speeds greater than 50 miles per hour (that's 85km) and saw use as a scout vehicle from 1943 onwards on both Eastern and Western fronts, as even the thickened armour didn't offer much in the way of protection. The fully enclosed turret of the Puma variant had a KwK 30 50mm gun. This vehicle can also be used in games of Achtung Panzer!, the game of close-quarters tank-on-tank combat, its rules can be found in the Achtung Panzer! rulebook.Original price was: £22.00.£17.60Current price is: £17.60. -

Bolt Action: Oddball Heroes
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesRarely, if ever, have the words ‘war’ and ‘comedy’ somehow been so successfully combined as in MGM’s 1970 classic movie ‘Kelly’s Heroes’. However, the movie which was originally entitled ‘The Warriors’ underwent a major transformation process from its inception to its release, including the cutting of entire scenes and characters and the addition of extended action sequences. Several members of the cast and crew voiced their disapproval of the changes which altered a grittier war movie with depth of character and an integral romantic sub-plot into an action-packed, farcical comedy. However, the cult following which Kelly’s Heroes enjoys nearly 50 years later and the plethora of infinitely quotable lines is perhaps the best proof that the final cut hit the nail right on the head. We've taken information from the final cut of the movie, Burt Hirschfeld’s accompanying 1970 novel of the same name, (based heavily on the original script) and the real life history behind the units portrayed in the movie to bring a slice of Hollywood to your battlefields... Contains 8 metal miniatures. Also there's a superb bonus within every box of Oddball Heroes! A full colour, 8 page, booklet provides every hero and vehicle with their own personalised themed special rules to add that 'Hollywood'flair and daring to your movie inspired games of Bolt Action.Original price was: £29.50.£23.60Current price is: £23.60. -

Bolt Action: German Heer Winter Weapons Teams
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesInfantry weapons teams are a key component of any Bolt Action army, providing as they do great tactical flexibility for your force. Sniper teams, anti-tank teams and flamethrower teams are among the most prevalent, presenting your opponent with multiple challenges to overcome. The Panzerschreck was a German development of the American bazooka, first encountered in North Africa, firing a large calibre shaped-charge rocket projectile. The back-blast from the weapon was so intense that early teams wore protective capes and masks – later a blast shield was fitted to the weapon giving it a distinctive appearance. The Panzerschreck and disposable anti-tank Panzerfaust had replaced the Panzerbüchse 39 anti-tank rifle by 1944. During the battle of Stalingrad, Russian snipers took such a heavy toll upon the beleaguered Wehrmacht that the Germans began to train and equip their own marksmen to undertake a specialist role as snipers. A variety of rifles were used for sniping, including the standard KAR-98K and the semi-automatic Gewehr 43, all fitted with the high quality ZF39 telescopic sight, and equipped with precision-manufactured ammunition. Flamethrowers – Flammenwerfer – were used through the war and were often employed against buildings or fortifications. During the latter part of the war, the Germans produced a lighter, smaller design that carried enough fuel for a single burst – effectively a one-shot flamethrower –the Eintossflammenwerfe. It is not known, however, whether this weapon was actually ever employed. Contains the following Warlord Resin Plus figures:Original price was: £16.00.£12.80Current price is: £12.80.- 2-man Panzerschreck team

Bolt Action: French Army Support Group
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe French army started World War II as the most powerful army in the world. Well-equipped, with excellent tanks and artillery, the infantry divisions were numerous and confident of fighting off the hated Boche as they had twenty two years before. This was not the same war though, and the French infantrymen found themselves all too often fighting off German armoured units which had outmanoeuvred them as the Blitzkrieg rolled across Europe. This pack is a great way to supplement your Bolt Action French Army, with dependable HQ choices as well as an 81mm Mortar and an aged yet dependable MMG in the form of a Hotchkiss MMG. Bolt Action: French Resistance Weapons Teams
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesInfantry weapons teams are a key component of any Bolt Action army, providing as they do great tactical flexibility for your force. Sniper teams, light mortar teams and anti-tank teams are among the most prevalent, presenting your opponent with multiple challenges to overcome. A Sniper Team in a Partisan Bolt Action army represents anything from an untrained civilian out for revenge on the occupiers to a seasoned hunter that has decided to join the resistance. Like most weapons used by the partisans, light mortars were often captured examples and short of ammunition. Light mortars were also relatively easy to supply by airdrops. For most partisans, mortars were too precious a resource to waste, and they were usually saved for just the right moment to surprise the enemy and pin them down as fighters advanced towards their targets. Partisans had little in the way of anti-tank weaponry. Fortunately, most of the heavier armour of the occupying forces was at the front line, and thus it was mostly outdated and lightly armed vehicles were used for security duty in occupied territory. PIAT anti-tank launchers were amongst some of the heavier gear that could be airdropped or smuggled through enemy lines for use by partisan forces. Contains three Bolt Action Order Dice and the following Warlord Resin Plus figures:Original price was: £16.00.£12.80Current price is: £12.80.- 2-man Light Mortar team

Bolt Action: French Resistance Light Artillery
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe most useful kinds of light artillery were often mountain guns, as these were more easily moved about and could be disassembled and carried by mules if necessary. All kinds of artillery would be used. The old World War I French 75mm field gun was one of the most common artillery pieces used by many nations at the start of the war, and no doubt a number fell into the hands of partisan forces. Blister pack contains metal gun and crew.Original price was: £24.00.£19.25Current price is: £19.25. -
Bolt Action: French Resistance Light Anti-Tank Gun
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesCaptured anti-tank guns were put to use again their former owners – these would very likely include German 37mm guns. Blister pack contains metal gun and crew.Original price was: £19.00.£15.25Current price is: £15.25. -
Bolt Action: French Resistance Squad
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe exceptional men and women of the French Resistance were fiercely patriotic citizens who risked everything to fight back against the occupying German Forces. From sowing disinformation or assassinating German personnel and collaborators, to direct attacks on German infrastructure, they prevented thousands of German troops from fighting the Allies on the frontlines. Armed with captured German weaponry, Allied supplied guns and their own local shotguns and hunting rifles, the Maquis made good use of their intimate knowledge of their homeland to keep the German forces on guard, unsure where or when the next guerilla attack would come. The figures in this set represent the partisans of the French Forces of the Interior (FFI), but are equally suitable for most resistance forces, be they in Poland, the Soviet Union or many of the other countries living under the heel of Germany's jackboot. Black Powder: Napoleonic British Rocket Bombarding Frame 2
Black Powder, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesDestruction and flames from on high – that’s the Congreve style, and it’s a powerful addition to your British Black powder force! Designed by Sir William Congreve in 1808, based on rockets captured from the Indian state of Mysore, the eponymous Congreve rocket consisted of a sheet-iron tube filled with gunpowder, tipped with an explosive shell, and mounted on a long wooden rod. These would be fired from racks or frames, and while somewhat unreliable and at times frighteningly inaccurate, they had the great advantage of being both powerful, terrifying, and far easier to transport and supply than the equivalent battery of cannon. Used in increasing numbers throughout the Napoleonic Wars, they would grow in size and capability into a truly deadly weapon. This brave rocketeer and his fiendish devices are ready to rain fire and terror on the foes of your British Black Powder force – if he can score a hit! This pack contains one Rocket Bombarding Frame with four crew, cast in metal.Original price was: £22.50.£18.00Current price is: £18.00. -

Black Powder: Napoleonic Spanish Horse Artillery with 8-pdr
Black Powder, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesBring firepower to bear at short notice with this mobile light gun for your Spanish Black Powder collection! Heirs to a long and proud martial tradition, Spain would initially be France’s ally in the early Napoleonic Wars before being occupied by the French in 1808, with Joseph Bonaparte installed as a puppet king. With the majority of Spaniards rejecting French rule, and fighting bitterly against it, the Spanish army would see significant service alongside their British allies. A key part of this army was the artillery. ‘Horse’ artillery, consisting of highly mobile light guns, was intended to race across the battlefield to wherever it was needed, often proving decisive in defeating enemy assaults or supporting attacks. Black Powder: Napoleonic Spanish Infantry 1st Battalion (1805-1811)
Black Powder, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesNapoleon Bonaparte's seemingly invincible French army suffered their first defeat of the Napoleonic Wars at the hands of the Spanish Army at Baylen in 1808. This was arguably the zenith of the Spanish army’s achievements during the wars. History has not looked back favourably on the armies of Spain during the Napoleonic Wars. They suffered many defeats but also pinned down huge numbers of French troops in a vicious war that sapped the strength of innumerable French units only too glad to leave a country where they were so hated. Although the vicious Spanish guerrillas wreaked havoc upon their French foes the Spanish regulars also caused thousands of casualties on their home soil. Black Powder: Chosen Men – British 95th Rifles
Black Powder, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe 95th Rifles were an elite unit of hard marching, sharp shooting light infantry that served in many bloody battles of the Napoleonic Wars. Unusually they did not wear the classic red coat of the British army, but instead a dark bottle green uniform which gave them their nickname of the ‘Sweeps’ or the ‘Grasshoppers’ by their French foes. They were equipped with the Baker rifle – a supremely accurate weapon for the period – which would hit single targets at ranges unheard of for the smoothbore muskets which most other troops carried. They earned a superb reputation in the Peninsular campaign and later at Waterloo, being battalions that Wellington could rely upon. To help maintain the effectiveness of the companies, reliable and trusted men would be issued with a white tape around the arm distinguishing them as ‘chosen men’ and expected to inspire the rank and file. To make up for the short length of their rifles, they were issued with wicked looking sword bayonets, long enough to give a parity against an enemy bayonet.Original price was: £37.00.£29.60Current price is: £29.60. -
Bolt Action: US Army M2A1 105mm Howitzer
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe M2A1 105mm Howitzer (re-designated M101A1 in 1962) was the standard light field howitzer in the US Army in World War II. Developed based on German World War I 105mm howitzers, it filled the need for a motor-drawn artillery to replace outdated guns and tactics. With a moderate range, soldiers appreciated its accuracy and powerful punch. Its main purpose was antipersonnel, but it was flexible enough to provide indirect fire as well This blister pack contains one metal gun with 4 crewmen.Original price was: £24.00.£19.25Current price is: £19.25. -

Bolt Action: Japanese Type 1 47mm Anti Tank Gun
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe Type 1 47mm AT gun was developed following the Japanese encounter with Russian armour and was the first indigenously developed dedicated anti-tank gun. It lacked the performance of other contemporary weapons of similar calibre, but was deemed sufficiently capable against lightly armoured tanks. By the time it was introduced in 1942, it was therefore already outdated. The same gun was used as the main armament of the Type 97 Chi-Ha Shinhoto tank. It was also used by Japanese paratroops – dropped disassembled in separate containers.Original price was: £19.00.£15.20Current price is: £15.20. -

Bolt Action: Japanese Teishin Shudan Paratrooper Squad
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesJapanese paratroopers – Teishin Shudan (raiding group) – proved highly effective in the early years of the war. German successes with paratroops during 1940 encouraged the Japanese to develop their airborne arm as a constituent part of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force (IJAAF). They were initially deployed in the Dutch East Indies during the Battle of Palambang in February 1942. A regiment of paratroopers dropped onto Palambang airfield, whilst another captured the town and its oil refinery. High casualties amongst the paratroopers discouraged further deployment by air, and the Teishin Shudan subsequently fought as elite infantry formations – much as their German counterparts did.Original price was: £26.50.£21.20Current price is: £21.20. -
Bolt Action: Japanese Army Support Group
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe men of the Imperial Japanese Army were excellent soldiers, with extraordinary devotion to their country and their Emperor. Battle-hardened by years of war in Manchuria, the Japanese army was well-disciplined, led by seasoned officers, and watched over by the dreaded Kempei-tei political officers. Japanese soldiers gained an air of invincibility in the early years of the war as they conquered Thailand, British Malaya, Singapore, and Hong Kong, the Dutch East Indies, and most of the American Philippines. Fanatical loyalty and iron discipline were the core of the Imperial Japanese Army ethos, and although it didn't have the same level of heavy weaponry and vehicles as their Allied opponents they were well supported by the likes of the Type 92 medium machine gun and Type 97 medium mortar. Contains these metal models:Original price was: £29.50.£23.60Current price is: £23.60.- 2 officers with pistol

Bolt Action: Japanese Special Naval Landing Force
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe Japanese Special Naval Landing Forces (SNLF) were the marine troops of the Imperial Japanese Navy. Due to the deep distrust the Japanese Army and Navy had for each other, joint operations were all but out of the question and the Navy created the Special Naval Landing Forces as a result. First seeing action in 1932 during the 'Shanghai Incident' of the Sino-Japanese War, the SNLF were highly trained, high quality troops with excellent morale. Each SNLF formation was named after the base in which it as formed. This plastic and metal set contains parts to make 32 SNLF. It includes plastic Japanese Infantry sprues plus metal parts with new heads for every model (including an officers tropical hat and a sailor's cap). The set also includes equipment packs including their distinctive gas-masks. There are also two new metal bodies as well as arms firing a pistol and wielding a ceremonial sword. The set is rounded off nicely with the full-colour sheets of flags and devotional banners - great to hang from weapons as they take Emperor's word to the enemy... Box contains 32 metal and plastic figures.Original price was: £41.50.£33.20Current price is: £33.20. -
Bolt Action: Japanese Bamboo Spear Fighter Squad
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesAs the Second World War progressed, Japanese forces were pushed back from the territorial gains they had made in the early stages of the war. With Allied bombing and ground campaigns hampering Japanese industry the Emperor’s soldiers learnt to use whatever materials were at hand to face the enemy, as firearms and ammunition became ever more scarce. This would see Japanese soldiers sacrificing themselves with grenades, a courageous last ‘banzai’ charge with swords drawn, or using sharpened lengths of bamboo as makeshift spears. The fanatical devotion to their Emperor, their country and their honour led many brave Japanese soldiers to such lengths. Allied troops were both in awe and disbelief of such heroics as the Japanese assault would more often than not perish in the face of sustained Allied firepower. Yet still the Japanese attacked... The figures in this boxed set represent a squad of desperate but proud Japanese soldiers in the remnants of their uniforms, bedraggled and unkempt yet not bowed by their situation or likely fate. Bolt Action: British & Inter-Allied Commandos Weapons Teams
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesInfantry weapons teams are a key component of any Bolt Action army, providing as they do great tactical flexibility for your force. Sniper teams, flamethrower teams and light machine gun teams are among the most prevalent, presenting your opponent with multiple challenges to overcome. By their nature as specialist raiders, Commandos go to battle lightly equipped in terms of weaponry. However, they made good use of Vickers K machine guns - formerly aircraft-mounted machine guns - with their high rate of suppressive fire. These 2-man teams comprise a Vickers K gunner and his No 2 laden with extra ammo. Whilst marksmanship was a vital skill for all Commandos, those with a special aptitude for accuracy and field craft were often employed as snipers. In the early days of the organisation, snipers were employed on a more ad-hoc basis; later in the war they, along with their scoped rifles, were specifically listed in Commando tables of organisation and equipment. As well as being used for scouting and attacking enemy forces, snipers were also employed in pairs on landing craft to target enemy defenders during the run in to amphibious assaults and raids. For the assault on Normandy in June 1944, Commandos were issued backpack flamethrowers for clearing fortified positions on the beaches. The Flamethrower, Portable, Mk 2 carried enough fuel for approximately 10 one-second bursts and were quickly discarded after the initial stages of the assault. Contains three Bolt Action Order Dice and the following Warlord Resin PlusTM figures:Original price was: £16.00.£12.80Current price is: £12.80.- 2-man Vickers K LMG team

Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesInitially designated the M4A3(76)W HVSS but shortened to M4A3E8 (the E8 denoting the HVSS suspension), this medium tank was eventually nicknamed the 'Easy Eight' by the US soldiers who fought in and alongside them. The Easy Eight boasts several improvements over earlier M4 Sherman designs, such as the Horizontal Volute Suspension System (HVSS) and wider tracks, giving it better ground performance; welded hull instead of cast, giving better protection; and 76mm M1A2 main gun, putting it on par with the German 75mm guns. Bolt Action: US Army Winter Weapons Teams
The American Bazooka was first used in North Africa and on Tarawa in November 1942. The M6 HEAT rocket could easily penetrate 76mm of armour at 30 degrees or 110mm at 90 degrees. The tasks of scouting and sniping were similar in American doctrines. Snipers were equipped with a telescopic sight on a M1903 bolt-action Springfield rifle, and also had close-combat weapons such as pistols and shotguns with which to defend themselves if discovered. Flamethrowers were used throughout the war, especially in the Pacific, to clear out tunnels and bunkers. During the Normandy landings, the number of flamethrowers was increased to allow the men to open a gap in the fortified lines. Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesInfantry weapons teams are a key component of any Bolt Action army, providing as they do great tactical flexibility for your force. Anti-tank teams and flamethrower teams are among the most prevalent, presenting your opponent with multiple challenges to overcome. The tasks of scouting and sniping were similar in American doctrines. In the US manual it was clearly stated that the duty of a sniper was to kill enemy officers in order to damage the morale of enemy troops. Mortars were the most commonly available type of support weapon. Paratroopers and Rangers had one mortar per platoon, in addition to those that may have been assigned at company level. Normally they were deployed in a suitable rear position, no further than 100 yards from the observer in order to ‘cover the most dangerous approaches to the platoon area’. Flamethrowers were used throughout the war, especially in the Pacific, to clear out tunnels and bunkers. Bolt Action: Italian Bersaglieri 100/17 Modello 14 Medium Artillery
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe Skoda-designed 100/17 Modello 14 was medium howitzer that contributed to much of the Italians’ artillery strength. As a whole, Italian artillery was a piecemeal collection from a previous era, although crewmen were well trained and made the most of the guns they served. The bravery of the Italian artillerymen on the Eastern Front was legendary, often firing over open sights at the approaching enemy in an attempt to stem the Soviet tide. Contains one metal weapon and four crew.Original price was: £24.00.£19.25Current price is: £19.25. -
Bolt Action: Italian Bersaglieri Elefantino 47mm anti-tank gun
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe 47/32 was a licensed Austrian light artillery piece that primarily served in an anti-tank role. When firing HEAT (High Explosive Anti-Tank) rounds, the 47/32 was an effective anti-tank platform in the earlier stages of the war. With a low silhouette (made even lower by the removal of its wheels, a common practice) and relative high mobility, the Elefantino proved itself in battle time and again. Contains one metal weapon and three crew.Original price was: £19.00.£15.25Current price is: £15.25. -
Bolt Action: Italian Bersaglieri FOO Team
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesWhether it is an artillery battery miles away from the battlefield, a naval gunship out to sea, or a ground attack aircraft high above the fighting, such weapons systems would be much less effective without the services of well-trained forward observers. Each infantry division was assigned its own artillery support assets in the Regio Esercito, and although many of the artillery pieces and aircraft were outdated, they were nonetheless quite lethal under the right circumstances. Given the firepower these forward observers could bring to bear on their targets, their neutralization was a high priority to opposing commanders. Contains three metal figures.Original price was: £7.50.£6.00Current price is: £6.00.
