Quickview A Song of Ice & Fire Miniatures Game, SPRING SALE, Tabletop GamesIn the land of Westeros, a title is a potential gateway to a life of leisure. Having land and dominion over those on it can easily lead to never having to work a single day. The Warrior's Sons, however, have eschewed all lands and titles, devoting their lives to the Seven. Instead of having servants bring them everything, they have honed their combat skills and owe their service to High Septon. The Warrior's Sons unit box gives Lannister players a righteous arm out on the battlefield. These highly-skilled and well-equipped soldiers are an avenging scythe, cutting down those who oppose them and using their faith to bolster themselves during combat, gaining Faith tokens that they can use for different bonuses and abilities.
Quickview A Song of Ice & Fire Miniatures Game, SPRING SALE, Tabletop GamesWhen in war, a Commander must take advantage of all of the technology at their disposal. Minor breakthroughs can provide a slight edge on the battlefield, but when a discovery like Wildfire is made, it’s enough to turn the tide of a conflict. With the Pyromancers Unit Box for A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game, Lannister Commanders will be able to take advantage of ‘the substance’; a volatile, green, liquid that sticks to armour and burns the flesh inside. It is a powerful tool on the battlefield, but wielding it can be dangerous, and mishandling it can be disastrous to their own troops. However, it’s worth the risks when they see the panic Wildfire can induce in the opposing forces. The Alchemists’ Guild is about to make its mark on the war.
Quickview A Song of Ice & Fire Miniatures Game, SPRING SALE, Tabletop GamesIt doesn’t take well-armed and armoured troops to create an army The bulk of the Free Folk forces are made up of the everyday people of the various tribes. They don’t have fancy metal armour. They don’t relentlessly train and drill manoeuvres. They barely have weapons, just scavenging a bit of bone or old swords from the battlefield. But what they lack in military tactics, they more than make up for in one thing: numbers. When the Raiders come down from the north, they’re like a tidal wave, overwhelming enemy defences as they go. The Free Folk Raiders Unit Box for the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game gives Free Folk Commanders a new option for the battlefield. The unit may not have the best stats in the game, but that means their low cost makes them very easy to combine with any force. The Raid Leader Unit Attachment adds to their deadliness, allowing another Free Folk unit to activate directly after the Raiders do.
Quickview A Song of Ice & Fire Miniatures Game, SPRING SALE, Tabletop GamesIn Westeros, it’s not just the men that will put their lives on the line out on the battlefield. Especially for the free folk, everyone is expected to do their part, and that’s why the Spearwife units were created. But far from just feeble extras, The Spearwives have trained extensively with their weapons of choice, and can be just as deadly as any other soldier. Their short spears are light enough to even be thrown at the enemy, letting the Spearwives cut them down at range. But the real danger comes when they charge. Their sharp spears, with the momentum of a running start, can pierce even the toughest armour. Adding a seasoned Spearwife Matriarch to the unit only enhances their manoeuvrability. This Spearwives unit expansion gives Free Folk commanders a deadly new unit and unit attachment that they can bring to the battlefields of Westeros.
Quickview A Song of Ice & Fire Miniatures Game, SPRING SALE, Tabletop GamesEven a Rag-Tag Group like the Free Folk Have Leaders The Free Folk aren’t necessarily fighting to place a representative on the Iron Throne. Though, they certainly would if given the opportunity. They are just trying to fight for an equal opportunity to live life like the southerners do, with their own lands and the rights to do on them as they please. From out of this rag-tag band, heroes have arisen to take leadership roles within the various tribes. The Free Folk Heroes I box gives Free Folk Commanders a whole host of new options for their forces. Coming up from the ranks of everyday men and women, people like Rattleshirt, Harma the Dogshead, or The Weeper, are set to move the course of the Free Folk in certain directions. This set includes both Unit Attachments as well as Non-Combat Units, including several Commanders and their accompanying Tactics cards. The fate of the Free Folk is in their hands.
Quickview A Song of Ice & Fire Miniatures Game, SPRING SALE, Tabletop GamesThey say that war is savage, these men exemplify that... The Free Folk are often framed as simple savages by those that live further south. In many instances, that evaluation is wrong. While the Free Folk don't harbour the trappings of much of civilisation, they are not simply savages. The Cave Dwellers though, well...they actually are simply savages. The Cave Dweller Savages Unit Box gives Free Folk commanders a new option on the battlefield. While the unit is armed simply with scavenged weapons they've found along the way to the battle, and are clothed in not much more than ratty old skins, they are still fearsome on the field, wading into combat with wild abandon. To further their fury, there is the Cave Dweller Alpha Unit Attachment, who can enhance the combat prowess of any unit they join.
Quickview A Song of Ice & Fire Miniatures Game, SPRING SALE, Tabletop GamesThe free folk in the north care not for the squabbles of the various houses south of the wall. These nomadic tribes will go where they please and recently, they've been flowing their way into warmer climes. However, the people already in those lands don't take kindly to what appears to be an invading force. Both sides are arming for war. This starter box has everything a player needs to start a Free Folk army. It contains two full units of Free Folk Raiders, as well as a unit of Savage Giants, and a unit of Free Folk Trappers. Additionally, it has various unit attachments, commanders, and NPCs to customise what players field. Also included is the game rule book, custom free folk dice, tokens, measuring sticks, terrain templates, and everything necessary to send this force to war.
Quickview A Song of Ice & Fire Miniatures Game, SPRING SALE, Tabletop GamesNobody Wants to End Up as Next Week’s Fashion Many in Westeros regard those in the Free Folk army as savages, and many in the Free Folk seem to go out of their way to enhance that feeling. The Followers of Bone are devoted to the Lord of Bones and have bedecked themselves with an assortment of macabre skeletal accessories, including using them as weapons in battle. Their disquieting practices and appearance has a marked effect on the enemy. The Followers of Bone unit box gives Free Folk commanders a scary new unit to fill their ranks. The horrific visages of these warriors can cause enemies to shrink back instead of surging forward, making them take a Panic Test before they can attack the Followers. Add to that the Champion of Bone Unit Attachment that grants restored Wounds to the unit whenever an enemy fails a Panic Test when engaged with them, and the Followers can be a very durable unit, indeed.
Quickview A Song of Ice & Fire Miniatures Game, SPRING SALE, Tabletop GamesSwift and Maneuverable, the Ranger Trackers Can Find Any Weakness in an Enemy The Ranger Trackers are certainly not the hardest-hitting or most heavily-armoured cavalry unit in Westeros, but they are some of the fastest and most agile. These swift hunters are able to get almost anywhere they need to be on the battlefield. Utilized as scouts when not in battle, they also have a keen knack for finding weaknesses in enemy units, setting them up for their brothers to take down. The Ranger Trackers unit for the Night’s Watch brings a swift cavalry unit to a Commander’s arsenal. They may not hit hard, and a good Commander will keep them out of harm’s way, but their ability to cause enemy units to become Vulnerable is an invaluable resource. Either setting up for a shot from their own recurve bows or a charge from another friendly unit, enemy forces will be wary of the sounds of galloping hooves in the distance.

For dog lovers, they could bring Rickon Stark and his direwolf, Shaggydog.
Quickview A Song of Ice & Fire Miniatures Game, Tabletop GamesThe Crannogman Trackers excel at taking down prey from afar. In combat, hitting the enemy without them being able to hit you back is a very powerful ability. In the battles of Westeros, warriors armed with bows can whittle down even heavily-armed foes, bringing victory to one side. In that role, Crannogman Trackers are the unit of choice for Free Folk commanders. They are lightly armed and armored, but that allows them to be quick and nimble. The skill with their bows means enemies risk dying under a hail of missile fire. When joined by a Crannogman Warden, they become even more deadly, giving them a guiding hand to who to attack next. The Crannogman Tracker Unit Box for A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game comes complete with everything a Free Folk player needs to put these harassers on the battlefield. They excel at movement and fighting on enemy flanks. And the Warden Unit Attachment gives them bonuses when attacking foes that have yet to activate.
Quickview A Song of Ice & Fire Miniatures Game, SPRING SALE, Tabletop GamesSpeed is often the deciding factor in combat. The one that can get in a good, strong strike against their opponent will be at an advantage for the rest of the battle. The swift Ranger Hunters excel at lightning-fast strikes. Using either their short bow or their trusty daggers, they conduct rapid raids against enemies. However, that speed comes at a price in terms of armour. If caught in a protracted engagement, the favour quickly tips against them. The Ranger Hunters Unit Box for the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game gives Night’s Watch Commanders a fast and agile unit on the battlefield. Their short bows can reach out and attack enemies before they can fight back. In melee, their Swift Strike attack allows them a free Retreat manoeuvre afterward. They also gain a bonus when attacking enemies that have yet to activate, allowing them to reroll misses once.
Quickview A Song of Ice & Fire Miniatures Game, SPRING SALE, Tabletop GamesBefore They Are Sworn Brothers, They Are Simply Conscripts When one makes their way into the Night’s Watch, they aren’t simply made a Sworn Brother immediately. While the organization has traditionally lax rules for recruitment, there is still a period where those that sign up are simply conscripts, being used where necessary to keep those south of The Wall safe. Eventually, if they survive, and with proper training, they will have the opportunity to join the Night’s Watch proper. The Conscripts Unit Box for the Night’s Watch army is not as strong or as tough as many of the other units available to Night’s Watch Commanders. However, what they lack in abilities they make up for in ease of fielding. Night’s Watch units can get costly points-wise to bring to battle, so the Conscripts can help balance numbers closer to equal. And the Watch Recruiter Unit Attachment can help any unit in the Night’s Watch army work just a bit more efficiently.
