Bolt Action: Italian Alpini Mountain Troops

During the war, Italian Alpini divisions saw combat in Albania, France, Greece and Yugoslavia, as well as in the Soviet Union and even as far afield as East Africa. After the armistice in 1943, the 3rd Alpini Division joined the Allied cause while the 4th Alpini Division continued to fight alongside Germany. Bolt Action: Italian Alpini Support Group
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesContaining a medium machine gun team, a medium mortar team, two officers, a medic helping a comrade, and a radio operator that would serve well as a forward observer, this Support Group boxed set is the ideal basis of an Italian Alpini Heavy Weapons Platoon! It also provides you with three Bolt Action Order Dice to use them in game. Breda M37 Medium Machine Gun Team (0-5 per Heavy Weapons Platoon): The most successful and most commonly used machine gun in Italian service was the Breda M37 8mm air-cooled weapon. A medium machine gun team is capable of laying down a withering hail of fire, the bane of enemy infantry caught out in the open. Medium Mortar team (0-5 per Heavy Weapons Platoon): Like so many nations, the Italian Army made good use of mortars, such as the Mortaio da 81/14 Modello. A medium mortar lobs shells high over the battlefield. Inaccurate at first, they range in over the course of a game, provided their targets don’t move, of course. HQ (1 Officer Team per Platoon, 0-1 Medic per Rifle Platoon, 0-1 Forward Observer per Rifle Platoon): For every platoon in your army, you’ll need a Platoon Commander. This box contains two officers, which can be used as commanders for any platoon type, a forward observer, which could easily act as spotter or as a an extra man in your officer team, and a medic to serve in a Rifle Platoon. Box contains four metal Italian HQ figures, one metal Breda M37 Medium Machine Gun with three Italian Alpini crew, one metal Medium Mortar with three Italian Alpini crew, three Bolt Action Order dice, and plastic bases.Original price was: £29.50.£23.60Current price is: £23.60. -
Bolt Action: Italian Alpini Weapons Teams
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesInfantry weapons teams are a key component of any Bolt Action army, providing great tactical flexibility for your force. This boxed set provides your Italian Alpini army with three of the most prevalent and useful such teams, as well as Bolt Action Order Dice to field them, arming you with the tools to tackle a variety of battlefield situations, and presenting your opponent with multiple challenges to overcome. It contains: Anti-Tank Team (0-1 per Rifle Platoon or 0-3 per Heavy Weapons Platoon): The Solothurn anti-tank rifle was a cross between a true anti-tank rifle and a light anti-tank gun. Anti-tank teams are ideally suited for hunting lighter enemy vehicles, like transports, armoured cars and light tanks. Sniper Team (0-1 per Rifle Platoon): The Italian army had no specialist sniper rifle, but a skilled marksman could make any scoped rifle deadly enough. In Bolt Action, snipers are accurate, long-range weapons that deny their targets the benefits of cover, and can pick out enemy squad leaders and NCOs from within a squad. Light Mortar Team (0-2 per Rifle Platoon or 0-5 per Heavy Weapons Platoon): The Brixia 45mm light mortar was a powerful and successful weapon in the hands of properly trained soldiers. Light mortars lob shells high over the field, at a relatively short range. Though they are inaccurate at first (not that a lucky six won’t result in an early hit!) they get more accurate as they range in, provided the target stays put! They are also capable of firing smoke shells to lay down a smoke screen for your troops as they advance. Box contains six Warlord Resin Italian Alpini figures, three Bolt Action Order dice, and plastic bases.Original price was: £16.00.£12.75Current price is: £12.75. -
Bolt Action: Puma Sd.Kfz 234/2 Armoured Car
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe Puma is, arguably, one of the best-looking armoured cars of WWII. A variant of the Sdkfz 234 it boasted a fully enclosed turret with a 5cm gun and thicker armour than other variants. Despite this additional armour the Puma was still capable of speeds greater than 50 miles per hour (that's 85km) and saw use as a scout vehicle from 1943 onwards on both Eastern and Western fronts, as even the thickened armour didn't offer much in the way of protection. The fully enclosed turret of the Puma variant had a KwK 30 50mm gun. This vehicle can also be used in games of Achtung Panzer!, the game of close-quarters tank-on-tank combat, its rules can be found in the Achtung Panzer! rulebook.Original price was: £22.00.£17.60Current price is: £17.60. -

Bolt Action: Japanese Bamboo Spear Fighter Squad
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesAs the Second World War progressed, Japanese forces were pushed back from the territorial gains they had made in the early stages of the war. With Allied bombing and ground campaigns hampering Japanese industry the Emperor’s soldiers learnt to use whatever materials were at hand to face the enemy, as firearms and ammunition became ever more scarce. This would see Japanese soldiers sacrificing themselves with grenades, a courageous last ‘banzai’ charge with swords drawn, or using sharpened lengths of bamboo as makeshift spears. The fanatical devotion to their Emperor, their country and their honour led many brave Japanese soldiers to such lengths. Allied troops were both in awe and disbelief of such heroics as the Japanese assault would more often than not perish in the face of sustained Allied firepower. Yet still the Japanese attacked... The figures in this boxed set represent a squad of desperate but proud Japanese soldiers in the remnants of their uniforms, bedraggled and unkempt yet not bowed by their situation or likely fate. Banzai! Contains a 10-man squad:Original price was: £26.50.£21.25Current price is: £21.25.- 1 NCO with sharpened bamboo spear

Bolt Action: M4A3E8 Sherman Easy Eight
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesInitially designated the M4A3(76)W HVSS but shortened to M4A3E8 (the E8 denoting the HVSS suspension), this medium tank was eventually nicknamed the 'Easy Eight' by the US soldiers who fought in and alongside them. The Easy Eight boasts several improvements over earlier M4 Sherman designs, such as the Horizontal Volute Suspension System (HVSS) and wider tracks, giving it better ground performance; welded hull instead of cast, giving better protection; and 76mm M1A2 main gun, putting it on par with the German 75mm guns. Includes one plastic 'Easy Eight' medium tank, Bolt Action stat card, Bolt Action Order Dice, assembly guide, full-colour waterslide decal sheet for US and Canadian vehicles and vehicle damage markers. Bolt Action: US Airborne Jeep (1944-45)
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesIn June 1940 the American army asked for a vehicle that could "go-anywhere". The answer was the four-wheel drive Willys MB and the Ford GPW, both models referred to as 'Jeeps'. 630,000 jeeps were produced by the end of the war. Developed for reconnaissance and liaison duties, the jeep was well suited to a variety of roles and was even used in airborne landings, as depicted here with the remastered Airborne Jeep for Bolt Action!Original price was: £20.50.£16.40Current price is: £16.40. -
Bolt Action: US Airborne Squad (Winter)
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesForever immortalised in the epic TV Series, Band of Brothers, the paratroopers of Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division were desperately pressed directly into the front lines during the surprise German offensive in the Ardennes in December 1944. Unprepared for action in the bitterly cold environment, they would brave the extreme temperatures and enemy fire with little more than extra gloves and scarves to stave off the bitter cold. This boxed set contains a squad of metal battle-hardened paratroopers equipped in their 1943 pattern jump fatigues supplemented with little more than woollen gloves, scarves and a steely determination to take the fight to the enemy! Bolt Action: US Army Winter Weapons Teams
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesInfantry weapons teams are a key component of any Bolt Action army, providing as they do great tactical flexibility for your force. Sniper teams, anti-tank teams and flamethrower teams are among the most prevalent, presenting your opponent with multiple challenges to overcome. The American Bazooka was first used in North Africa and on Tarawa in November 1942. The M6 HEAT rocket could easily penetrate 76mm of armour at 30 degrees or 110mm at 90 degrees. The tasks of scouting and sniping were similar in American doctrines. Snipers were equipped with a telescopic sight on a M1903 bolt-action Springfield rifle, and also had close-combat weapons such as pistols and shotguns with which to defend themselves if discovered. Flamethrowers were used throughout the war, especially in the Pacific, to clear out tunnels and bunkers. During the Normandy landings, the number of flamethrowers was increased to allow the men to open a gap in the fortified lines. Anti-tank teams and flamethrower teams are among the most prevalent, presenting your opponent with multiple challenges to overcome. The tasks of scouting and sniping were similar in American doctrines. In the US manual it was clearly stated that the duty of a sniper was to kill enemy officers in order to damage the morale of enemy troops. Mortars were the most commonly available type of support weapon. Paratroopers and Rangers had one mortar per platoon, in addition to those that may have been assigned at company level. Normally they were deployed in a suitable rear position, no further than 100 yards from the observer in order to ‘cover the most dangerous approaches to the platoon area’. Bolt Action: Italian Paracadutisti Medium Mortar Team
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesIt has been said that mortars accounted for more casualties in World War II than any other single weapon type. Trained and effective Italian mortar crews certainly added to those numbers in every theatre where they operated. Like their Regio Esercito (Royal Italian Army) counterparts, the airborne divisions relied heavily on the Mortaio da 81/14 Modello 35 81mm mortar for this purpose.Original price was: £11.50.£9.25Current price is: £9.25. -
Bolt Action: Italian Paracadutisti Support Group
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesLed by tough, experienced officers, the Italian paratroopers were a well-respected foe – during the battle of El Alamein troops of the Folgore (Lightning) Division repelled the British attacks for weeks. The Folgore fought until expending their last round of ammunition, taking out British tanks with near suicidal close quarters attacks and choosing bayonet charges over raising the white flag, such was their elan. Like their Regio Esercito (Royal Italian Army) counterparts, the airborne divisions relied heavily on the Breda 37 medium machine gun and the Mortaio da 81/14 Modello 35 81mm mortar for close fire support. Contains 10 metal miniatures:- 2 Officers with SMG
- 1 NCO with SMG
- 1 Radio Operator

Sniper teams, anti-tank teams and light mortar teams are among the most prevalent, presenting your opponent with multiple challenges to overcome. The Solothurn anti-tank rifle was a cross between a true anti-tank rifle and a light anti-tank gun. Featuring a light wheeled carriage and a magazine-feed, the Solothurn could achieve a rate of fire of up to 20 rounds per minute. The Italian army had no specialist sniper rifle, and the relatively light-weight Carcano Model 1891 with its small calibre bullet was not ideally suited to the role. However, in the hands of a skilled marksman the weapon would prove deadly enough. The Brixia 45mm light mortar was a powerful and successful weapon in the hands of properly trained soldiers. Bolt Action: Carro Armato / Semovente Tank
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesProduced by Fiat Ansaldo, the M13/40 was the main battle tank of the Italian army in World War II and served throughout the war following its introduction in 1940. Although designated as a medium tank it was more in line with the light tanks of other nations at the time. With armour up to 42mm thick, and armed with a 47mm main gun backed up by up to four 8mm machine guns, it carried a four-man crew. Its diesel engine, whilst underpowered, giving a top speed of around 20mph, was less vulnerable to catching fire and had better range than petrol-fuelled vehicles. The most widely produced Italian tank of the war, the M13/40 battled on in the Western Desert and Italy despite Allied tanks far eclipsing it in firepower, speed and protection. This superb plastic kit can alternatively be assembled as a Semovente tank. The Semovente 75/18 self-propelled gun brings some much needed armoured reinforcements to Italian forces. The Semovente was an Italian self-propelled gun, built by mounting the 75mm Obice da 75/18 modello 34 mountain gun on the chassis of a M13/40 or M14/41 tank. It had riveted steel plates, which were thicker but also less sloped than in the original tank. Frontal armour was almost vertical, but it consisted of two plates rather than a single layer, which improved stopping power. You may think these tanks may only be for Italian Bolt Action armies, but you’d be dead wrong. Captured examples of the M13 were used by the Australians at Tobruk and the Germans were known to use Semoventes. The kit has you covered, including a decal sheet with Italian army, German army and Australian Army markings. Contains 1 plastic tank -

Bolt Action: Italian Army & Blackshirts
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesMussolini famously boasted that the Italian army had eight million bayonets standing at the ready. In actuality, the standing Italian army was far smaller than that, with huge numbers of troops conscripted into a war they neither believed in nor understood. The fighting ability of units of the Italian army varied greatly, with much of the rank and file lacking proper equipment, transport and even motivation. Still, there were several key battles in North Africa and the Eastern Front where they performed well. Camicie Nere (Blackshirts) Militia The MVSN or Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nazionale (Voluntary Militia for National Security) was made by the Fascist Party into a paramilitary organization similar in concept to the German SS. The rank and organizational terminology used by the MVSN was very close to that of ancient Rome, with legions, centuries, cohorts, maniples and so on. Mostly concerned with territorial security and counter-partisan activities, in wartime the Camicie Nere were organized into ‘assault legions’ that were fielded alongside regular army infantry divisions to reinforce them and as a way to ‘politicize’ the Regio Esercito. The quality of these militia units varied immensely, ranging from barely trained village bullies to veterans of the Spanish Civil War and highly motivated ‘Giovani Fascisti’ (young fascists). The Sprue The Italian uniform changed several times during the course of the war and we chose the pattern that could best represent a wide array of troops, at different times during the war, and in different theatres of operation. At 28mm scale, these are ideal to represent M37 or M40 tunics. We have also included the Camiciotto Sahariana pullover smock for added variety. Weaponry includes the M91/41 rifle, M91/38 Carcano Cavalry Carbine, M38A Beretta SMG, M38 Carcano carbine, M1934, 9mm Beretta pistol and Breda M30 LMG. A wide variety of headgear for the Italian Army and Blackshirts are included – M33 steel helmets, Bustina cap, M1935 pith helmet, Blackshirt soft fez & Blackshirt hard fez. Not only that but the sprue contains masses of optional extras such as two types of gas mask bags, goggles, bayonets, combat knives, etc! -

Bolt Action: M3 Stuart Tank
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe Stuart stands tall, and was favoured by many crews due to its fairly high speed. It was mechanically reliable and obtained the nickname "Honey" due to its smooth ride. During 1942, the British Army decided to keep their Stuarts away from tank-versus-tank combat and instead use them for reconnaissance. A number of Stuart variations arose, including the Stuart Recce, the Stuart Kangaroo and the Stuart Command. Making a conversion of these is easy with the new plastic Stuart. The Recce had the turret removed in order to achieve an improved speed and range, while the Kangaroo had been converted into an armoured personnel carrier. The M3 proved itself as an effective armoured vehicle in jungle environments, where the Japanese infantrymen found themselves under-equipped and lacking anti-tank weaponry. This left them with only one option, which was to rely on close assault tactics. The Stuart was an impressive counter to this, and in this setting was barely any more vulnerable than a medium tank. This box contains 1 x plastic M3 Light tank with options to use:- 5 MMG
- Flamethrower
- External Fuel tanks
- Sand guards
- Rounded or plate turret variants

Bolt Action: British Army Support Group
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe British Tommy faced his Axis adversaries throughout the war with tenacity, bravery and his legendary love of a 'brew'. After years of fighting in North Africa and the Far East the British Army set foot back in Europe with the invasion of Sicily and Italy. In 1944 they spearheaded the D-Day landings in Normandy before pushing on into the German homeland and ultimate victory. British soldiers made good use of the water-cooled Vickers machine gun - the same weapon their fathers use in the Great War - and the 3" mortar. Bolt Action: Churchill Tank
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe Churchill, undoubtedly one of the most successful and famous British tanks of the Second World War. The British Army adopted a doctrine centered around the use of light, fast 'Cruiser Tanks' coupled with slow, better armed and armoured 'Infantry Tanks', that would be used to smash the enemy defences with infantry support... and the Churchill was a prime example of the latter - one of the heaviest Allied tanks of the war, it featured thicker frontal armour than that even of the Tiger! Although it suffered from being under-armed, a defect common to most British armoured vehicles of the period, it was nevertheless loved by its crews: its cross-country ability was unrivalled and it was less inclined to ‘brew-up’ from a direct hit than the Sherman. In this plastic kit from Warlord and Italari you'll get 7 turret variations (yes - we said SEVEN!) allowing you to build the following marks:Original price was: £25.00.£19.99Current price is: £19.99.- MkIII - with 6pdr gun

Bolt Action: Cromwell Cruiser Tank
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe most produced Cruiser tank of the European theatre! Armed with a potent 75mm gun and with good cross country performance this vehicle was more than a match for the venerable Panzer IV! Though sadly it was still outclassed by the German "Big Cats" Cromwells were used in the 7th armoured division and in the armoured recce regts of the Guards and 11th Armoured Divisions. Even the 6th Airborne armoured recce regt acquired about 8 Cromwells in Normandy and kept hold of them during the Winter fighting in "The Bulge". Normally a troop would comprise 3 Cromwells and a Firefly. The new kit includes an optional Culin Prong hedgerow cutter for those of you wanting to burst through the Normandy bocage! It also comes with a full-colour waterslide decal sheet with many options in terms of the formation you can build - British, Canadian and Polish units are included. This vehicle can also be used in games of Achtung Panzer!, the game of close-quarters tank-on-tank combat, its rules can be found in the Achtung Panzer! rulebook.Original price was: £25.00.£19.99Current price is: £19.99. -
Bolt Action: Finnish Rifle Squad (Continuation War)
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe vast Soviet military machine that invaded Finland during the Winter War of 1939-1940 was stunned by the lightly armed but intensely motivated and skilled Finnish troops. The Soviets were outfought despite hugely superior weight of numbers. Although eventually seeking terms the Finns had delivered a harsh lesson to their rapacioius neighbours. When the Soviet Union - having by then joined the Allies - again attacked in 1941, the Finns were left with little option but to side with Germany in a conflict known as the Continuation War, making good use of German weaponry. The Finns were masters of fieldcraft, sniping, and small unit tactics that hit hard then disappeared into the dense forests. Their weapons were light but used with great dexterity, and many made use of captured Russian kit as there was always plenty left behind after the Finns had struck! These miniatures are mostly dressed in standard issue M36 tunic and armed with a variety of Finnish weaponry and so are most suitable for use in Continuation War (1941-1944) against the might of the Soviet Union. Dig in and stop the arrogant Russians marching into brave Finland! Contains a 9-man Rifle Squad:Original price was: £26.50.£21.25Current price is: £21.25.- NCO and 1 soldier with SMGs

Bolt Action: Soviet Army Winter Weapons Teams
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesInfantry weapons teams are a key component of any Bolt Action army, providing as they do great tactical flexibility for your force. Sniper teams, flamethrower teams and light mortar teams are among the most prevalent, presenting your opponent with multiple challenges to overcome. Soviet propaganda lavished attention on successful snipers and encouraged a doctrine of ‘sniperism’ among the troops. Snipers used telescopic sights on either a bolt action Moisin-Nagant 1891/30, or, more rarely, a Tokarev SVT-40 smi-automatic rifle. The allocation of 50mm mortars was initially to individual teams at platoon level, but later they were more often concentrated together at company level for use en masse. The weapon was easily man-portable and could lay down a high explosive or smoke bombs at a range of over 800 yards. By far the most common Russian flamethrowers were the man-packed ROKS types. The ROKS-2 was designed with a fuel tank that looked like an ordinary backpack and a nozzle resembling a rifle, so as not to attract unwelcome attention on the battlefield. Bolt Action: Soviet Army Weapons Teams
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesInfantry weapons teams are a key component of any Bolt Action army, providing as they do great tactical flexibility for your force. Sniper teams, mortar teams and flamethrower teams are among the most prevalent, presenting your opponent with multiple challenges to overcome. The sniper became synonymous with the Red Army, particularly during the grim sieges of Stalingrad and Leningrad. ‘Sniper schools’ were established in bombed-out buildings and cellars, where successful snipers passed down their skills to ever-growing numbers of students – many of them women. The standard light mortar used by Russian infantry during World War II was the 50mm Infantry Mortar Model 1940 (50-PM 40), a cheaper version of the earlier model 1938, In addition, the Soviet army received considerable numbers of 2-inch mortars from Britain via Lend-Lease. The Soviets made great use of flamethrowers including FOG-1 static types dug in to cover bunkers and trenches. Due to shortcomings in developing other credible anti-tank weapons, Red Army doctrine placed strong emphasis on using flamethrowers as anti-tank as well as anti-infantry weapons. Bolt Action: Soviet T-34/85 Medium Tank
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe T-34 series, with its sloping armour, changed the principles of tank design during the war. The sloping, angular layout of the T-34 increased the effective armour thickness and also saw a larger proportion of shells deflected away than penetrated its armour. The introduction of the T-34 into action saw German tank design follow suit with similarly angled armour on the likes of the Panther and King Tiger. As German tank design came to the fore, the Soviet war machine once again raised the bar with the T-34/85. The T-34/85, the very symbol of Soviet military strength in the Second World War, had a new turret to house the more powerful 85mm ZiS gun. A supremely rugged and reliable tank, the T-34/85 had excellent off-road capability, especially in the marshland or snow of the Eastern Front, and was easy for the crew to operate and maintain. Box contains 1 plastic tank, Bolt Action stat card, damage markers, leaflet and decal sheet. This vehicle can also be used in games of Achtung Panzer!, the game of close-quarters tank-on-tank combat, its rules can be found in the Achtung Panzer! rulebook.Original price was: £25.00.£19.99Current price is: £19.99. -
Bolt Action: Soviet T-34/76 Medium Tank
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe T-34 tank design is arguably the most important tank of all time with over 84,000 made and innovative design features. The T-34/76 first saw action in late 1941, and was a significant leap forward in tank design – a rugged, no-nonsense anatomy and wide tracks enabled it to cope with the mud and snow of the Eastern Front. It married the perfect combination of thick, sloped armour and an efficient gun, along with extreme sturdiness, reliability, ease of manufacturing and maintenance. German tanks struggled in the cold conditions of the Eastern Front – the rubber peeling away from the road wheels, engines being slow to start and needing to be slowly warmed-up, machine guns jamming constantly, and the narrow tracks of the Panzer III and IV causing them to sink into the snow and mud. The T-34s ran circles around the struggling German hardware – especially as the Luftwaffe was more often than not grounded due to the bad weather, so couldn't harry the Soviets. This kit allows you the option of assembling the tank as either the 1941, 1942, or 1943 pattern T-34/76 – each with their distinctive turrets. Bolt Action: Winter Soviet Infantry
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesWhen the German army crashed over the Russian border in 1941, Hitler was confident of a short, sharp campaign. He nearly got one, but heroic defence by the massive Soviet armies slowed the Nazi advance. It was done by the simple private soldier, "Ivan" as the Germans called him. Brave, solid, and loyal, these soldiers endured dreadful battle conditions. Their equipment was unsophisticated but functional, much like the troops themselves. The bitter fighting in Finland had taught some hard lessons to the Red Army where thousands of their men fell victim to frostbite. The cold weather kit later issued was warm and comfortable, frequently padded or quilted, and was much envied by the German troops shivering in thin overcoats. These tough men could lie out in the snow for hours before making their attacks. Urrah! Bolt Action: French Army Infantry
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe French army started World War II as the most powerful army in the world. Well-equipped, with excellent tanks and artillery, the infantry divisions were numerous and confident of fighting off the hated Boche as they had twenty-two years before. This was not the same war though, and the French infantrymen found themselves all too often fighting off German armoured units which had outmanoeuvred them as the Blitzkrieg rolled across Europe. This incredibly versatile plastic boxed set allows you to assemble the miniatures as regular French Army infantry, fortress troops, chasseurs à pied, engineers or colonial troops (Algerian, Moroccan or Tunisian). Bolt Action: Blitzkrieg German Support Group
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesBlitzkrieg HQ German officers were capable and often experienced leaders. Junior officers were trained to undertake the role of their own immediate superiors, enabling them to use their initiative to take control of situations when necessary. Blitzkrieg Medium Machine Gun Team The Germans were equipped with two excellent machine guns in the MG34 and rapid-firing MG42 – known to Allied troops as ‘Hitler’s Buzz Saw’ because of its distinctive noise, or ‘Spandau’. Unlike other armies, the Germans used the same machine gun both as a squad weapon from its bipod and as a tripod-mounted support weapon. The tripod mount provided a much more stable firing platform and made it easier to keep up a sustained fire using a belt feed. Blitzkrieg Medium Mortar Team The standard German medium mortar of the war was the 80mm Granatwerfer 34. It was a very effective and accurate weapon that could provide longer range, on-call fire support. It had a maximum range of 2,400 metres and could maintain a rate of fire of 15–20 rounds per minute.Original price was: £29.50.£23.60Current price is: £23.60. -

Bolt Action: Tiger I Ausf. E Heavy Tank
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesAmongst the most feared tanks in the Second World War, the mere mention of the name 'Tiger' was enough to cause panic amongst Allied armoured formations. The Tiger was hurried into action on the Russian front as a response to the heavier Soviet tanks that had caught the Wehrmacht unawares. Its massive square body and rounded turret was an intimidating sight to enemy tankers. The armour was tremendously thick and made of quality steel, making it largely invulnerable, at least frontally, to anti-tank fire. Its potent 88mm gun was a deadly weapon, effective against enemy tanks up to three kilometres and also firing a lethal high explosive shell. This vehicle can also be used in games of Achtung Panzer!, the game of close-quarters tank-on-tank combat. Its rules can be found in the Achtung Panzer! rulebook.Original price was: £25.00.£19.99Current price is: £19.99. -
Bolt Action: German Flak 37 8.8cm
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesOriginally developed as an anti-aircraft weapon, the Flak 37 8.8cm (or Eighty-eight as it became known by Allied troops) had a high muzzle velocity to allow it to reach the higher ranges modern bombers were capable of at the time. This would make it an exceptionally deadly anti-tank weapon as many Allied tank crews would learn to their peril. The 88 could also be deployed as a conventional artillery piece – as one infantryman noted, the 88 was 'anti-everything'... Capable of firing in extremis whilst still attached to its wheeled carriages (although with limited traverse or elevation), the 88 could be fully deployed onto its cruciform firing platform and ready to fire in around two and a half minutes. Many 88s were fitted with a large gunshield although there were many examples of this being dispensed with. Being such a large and heavy weapon it could only be towed by larger prime movers such as the Sd.Kfz 7 halftrack. This Flak 37 kit is supplied with 8.8cm shells and shell cases and can be built to both traverse and elevate - neither enemy armour nor aircraft will be safe! Contents:Original price was: £34.50.£27.50Current price is: £27.50.- One 1/56 scale hard plastic WWII 8.8cm Flak 37 dual-purpose AA/AT gun

Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThis Bolt Action set contains 1 x German Heer HQ (Winter), 1 x German Heer MMG Team (Winter) and 1 x German Heer Medium Mortar Team (Winter). German Heer HQ (Winter) German officers were capable and often experienced leaders. Junior officers were trained to undertake the role own immediate superiors, enabling them to use their intuition to take control of situations when necessary. Because of the high quality of the majority of German officers, the Bolt Action rules rate them as regular or veteran. German Heer (Winter) Medium Machine Gun Known as "Hitler's Buzzsaw" on account of its high rate of fire. The MG42 fired 1250 rounds/minute, more than twice that of the British Vickers Machine Gun and American Browning. Add this tremendous firepower to your Germans and give your infantry some much-needed support. Unlike other armies, the Germans used the same machine gun both as a squad weapon and as a tripod-mounted support weapon. The tripod mount provided a much more stable firing platform and made it easier to keep up a continuous fire using a belt feed. German Heer (Winter) Medium Mortar Team The Standard medium mortar for the Germans in WW2 was the Granatwerfer 34. It was a very effective and accurate weapon that could provide long range, on call fire support. It's crew could carry it in 3 pieces: base plate, tube and bipod. With enough ammunition it could maintain a rate of fire of around 15 to 20 rounds per minute out to a maximum range of 2,400 meters.Original price was: £29.50.£23.50Current price is: £23.50. -
Bolt Action: German Infantry (Winter)
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesAdolf Hitler’s aggressive campaigns across the world ensured his troops would face the enemy in all environments and climates. None were more unforgiving than the harsh winters on the Eastern Front or in the Italian hills and mountains. The resourceful German landser (common soldiers) often had to make do with little more than their standard issue woollen greatcoat, gloves, scarves and a steely determination to not only stave off the cold, but also be able to fight and win. These highly detailed plastic figures are ideal to represent German Infantry (Winter) – be they Heer or Waffen-SS – facing the enemy in cold weather or in the very depths of the bitter winter snows.
