Citi-Def Specialists - Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

Citi-Def Specialists – Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

    ,
The cliched impression the majority of Mega-City inhabitants have of the Citi-Def is of military wannabes bingeing on Tri-D action vids and barely able to point their weapons in the right direction. This view is not all that wide of the mark, which makes Citi-Def extremely dangerous when block wars begin - they have a habit of pillaging their armoury for the biggest flashiest most destructive weapons they have at their disposal... From bombastic leaders with a power trip to barely trained medics, to troops wielding heavy weaponry they pose serious threats to friend and foe as well as the Justice Department and wider populace.

Citi-Def Jaeger Squad – Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

    ,
Not all Citi-Def units have a Jaeger Squad but those who do often consider them to be an elite force. Each member of the Jaeger Squad is a full-time Citi-Def soldier dedicated to protecting their block against all enemies. Training hard in infiltration skills and the disruption of communications, the Jaeger Squad is as close to a commando unit as any Citi-Def is likely to get. Though still far from the highly disciplined Judges, members of the Jaeger Squad gain a great deal of respect from other soldiers of their Citi-Def unit and can prove to be quite lethal in block wars.

Block Gang Champions & Heavies – Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

    ,
When a block war breaks out the block gangs are more often than not to be found taking the fight to the enemy blockers by fair means or foul. Block champions are often little more than a bully who likes to think they take care of their own and let the rest of the drokking city go to hell. They are at the forefront of escalating tensions between blocks and often responsible for outright block warfare backed up by their cohort of gangers, often armed with heavy weaponry when inter-block warfare erupts.

Fatties at War – Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

    ,
When a block war comes, Fatties can really pull their not inconsiderable weight. Improvised armour will be strapped to their considerable bulk and then pushed at full speed towards the enemy to be used as a living battering ram. Every fat camp has a Fats Hambo, to one degree or another. A militant campaigner for fat rights, they are true believers in the Grud-given gift of as much food for every Fattie as they can stomach. Using (and bending) the laws for arming Citi-Def units, they have managed to get their hands on powerful weaponry and just enough training to be dangerous when enraged.

Justice Department Riot Control – Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

    ,
When a block war erupts the men, women and robot auxiliaries of the Justice Department bear the brunt of quelling the fighting and preventing it spilling into a multi-block war – or worse. Assault Judges are all handpicked veterans, pulled from the ranks of Street Judges and trained to bring an end to criminal activity in the speediest (and most brutal) manner possible. Equipped with riot shields and either Day Sticks or Disruptor Guns, they are deployed during the very worst of block wars to target leaders and combatants who have managed to get hold of heavy weapons. Stern, unyielding and covered in heavyweight armour, the Riot Judges are trained to handle large mobs. Riot Judges operate in small teams and are trained and equipped to contain, pacify, and arrest unruly citizens, only sweeping in to break heads when there are few other options.

Block War Expansion – Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

    ,
This expansion for the Judge Dredd Miniatures Game introduces a whole new level of play to your tabletop – the (in)famous block wars of Mega-City One! Each player builds their own block with unique characteristics, gathers their residents together, and then unleashes them on the self-satisfied citizens of a neighboring block - who have had everything their own way for far too long! Included are new rules for use in the Judge Dredd Miniatures Game; new characters and units, new Armory cards to add to your deck, and a brand-new Block War deck that brings the sheer violence and chaos of a block war to the tabletop – along with a lot of Judges! The block war campaign allows players to marshal their forces, from common citizenry to the (self-proclaimed) elite forces of the Citi-Def, and then play through a number of battles that show the key moments of the block war. As the war escalates, new scenarios are unlocked, damage can be done to the enemy block, and with enough of a rival effort, you may just be able to destroy the physical foundations of a block and send it crashing into City Bottom in a fiery cloud of dust, rubble, and falling citizens.

The Wally Squad - Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

The Wally Squad – Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

    ,
"Me? I’m nobody. A ghost. A hole in the crowd… a big, fat zero." There are some criminal investigations that require intelligence gathering, where the presence of a uniformed Judge brandishing a Lawgiver is not appropriate. For these activities the Justice Department has formed an undercover division known informally in the Department as the ‘Wally Squad’. These Judges adopt civilian garb and move amongst the street life of Mega‐City One always on the lookout for leads on criminal activity. If required, they will infiltrate gangs and criminal organisations on highly dangerous undercover missions. Activities like these are abhorrent to most Street Judges who tend to view their Wally Squad colleagues as necessary ‘oddballs’. Whilst some undercover operations can be concluded in a short time, dedicated squad members have been known to spend years on a case, all the time maintaining a false identity. There is a danger in such deep cover that some Wally Squad members, such as the infamous Lenny Zero, have had their outlook and life values completely changed. Their beliefs have been sequestered by the roles they are playing, and many have ‘gone rogue’ working out of sight, but not out of mind, of the Justice Department. A Judge gone rogue can become the most dangerous of criminals. Here we present three of the most infamous members of the Wally Squad. Dirty Frank: Originally a respected Street Judge, Frank now appears to be a deeply unhygienic lunatic living in ‘Low Life’, the Mega-City One’s most crime-ridden area. Jack Point: A deep cover Wally Squad Judge, Jack is a follower of the Church of Simpology. Despite this, Jack is an effective and dangerous operative. Aimee Nixon: An ‘A’ grade cadet, Nixon joined the Wally Squad and was mentored by Dirty Frank.

    Judge Dredd: Mega-City Robots

Mega-City Robots – Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

    ,
Most Mega-City citizens are generally too lazy to get off their backsides and do the menial work performed by these semi-sentient robots. Robots have 'AZI-MOV protocols' forbidding them from harming a human. Yet, some break their programming. Mega-City One has been hit with two major robot-related conflicts. The first was initiated by the rogue 'Call-me-Kenneth' unit. A bloody campaign of extermination against the 'Fleshy Ones' ensued. The second was precipitated by the arch-criminal Nero Narcos, who unleashed hordes of Assassinator Droids in his bid to seize control of Mega-City One. Despite these incidents, robots continue to be an indispensable part of Mega-City life. With Mega-City One's population decimated by recent events the presence of robots as a tireless workforce has become ever more important.

"Klegg-Hai!, Klegg-Hai!, Klegg-hai!" This chilling alien battle cry has echoed across a universe of battlefields, heralding the arrival of the nightmarish Klegg. Mercenary warriors over ten feet tall and resembling an enormous bipedal Crocodile. The Klegg are utterly ruthless in the art of war; surrender is futile as prisoners are not taken – they are eaten! The Klegg first roamed the streets of the ‘Big Meg’ during the corrupt reign of Judge Cal. So feared were these vicious extra-terrestrial carnivores that Dredd’s victorious Judges attempted to exterminate every last Klegg in the city. Despite this, the Klegg are born survivors and small groups can still be found deep in the ruins and slum blocks, ready to fight just for the pleasure of killing or selling their skills to any underworld maniac prepared to pay them in fresh meat!

Specialist Judges – Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

Some Judges display an affinity with machines, an understanding of the workings of the human body, or display psionic talents. Such individuals are given special training and access to advanced curricula. Psi Division moulds cadets displaying psychic talents into Psi-Judges, who bring the Law to the Mega-City in less than conventional ways. Tek Judges maintain the Justice Department’s vehicles, weapons and other equipment while also aiding with forensics, technological threats, and advanced intrusion techniques. Med Judges aid Judges, civilians and perpetrators injured in Justice Department operations, often from special quick reaction ambulance units. Recent Justice Department casualties have been so great that the controversial Mechanismo robot Judges, with full judicial authority, were created by Tek Division.

    SJS Judge Gerhart

SJS Judge Gerhart – Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

    ,
Now more than 75% Cyborg, Alex Gerhart was an up‐and‐coming star in the sinister ranks of the Special Judicial Squad. Unfortunately, like so many of his colleagues, he had an unhealthy obsession with Judge Dredd. Not only had the venerable Judge been instrumental in exposing the worst excesses of the SJS under Judge Cal, he also represented the one thing that the SJS could simply not process: an incorruptible Judge. For several years, Gerhart pursued a vendetta against Dredd to uncover some transgression, no matter how small. While investigating the death of a Tek Judge, he unsuccessfully tried to force Dredd to admit having a guilty conscience about the 350 million citizens who fell to the Chaos Virus, a bio‐weapon unleashed by Sov agents in revenge for Dredd destroying East‐Meg One. Ultimately Gerhart’s obsession with Dredd would cost him dearly. He saved Dredd’s life by taking the impact of a missile meant for his nemesis. He simply could not let Dredd die before guilt was fully proven. Gerhart’s self‐sacrifice saw fully half of his shattered body being replaced by cybernetic parts. Contains 2 resin models, 1 on foot and 1 mounted.

Judge Dredd miniatures game Cadet Judge

Cadet Judge – Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

    ,
Potential Judge candidates are usually inducted into the Academy of Law at the tender age of five. Here, they are subject to rigorous academic training in all aspects of the law that governs the North American Mega-Cities. By the end of the process, they have acquired a level of knowledge that would exceed those of the most senior lawyers and justice officials of the early 21st century. In parallel to their academic training, they undergo an intensive physical and mental exercise programme that hones their firearms and close combat skills whilst also preparing them to endure the various injuries and physical hardships that life patrolling the streets will throw at them. Whilst the life of a cadet is mostly taken up by study and training, if a particularly serious situation or crisis demands the Justice Department deploy more manpower, cadets may be armed and sent out onto the streets, usually as part of a carefully monitored team engaging in fairly low intensity operations. One highlight of a cadet’s continual assessment is the ‘Hotdog Run’ where a group of cadets accompanied by Senior Judges are sent on patrol in the radioactive hell of the Cursed Earth beyond the Mega-City’s walls. However, during the Necropolis and Chaos Day incidents cadets were deployed into highly dangerous situations normally only handled by a fully qualified Judge. Many cadets performed bravely and well, as befitted their training, but the losses incurred had serious future implications for the Justice Department when it was already struggling to maintain enough qualified Street Judges.

    Judge Anderson Expansion Pack

Judge Anderson – Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

    ,
One of Psi Division’s greatest stars is Cassandra Anderson. She specialises in the fields of telepathy and precognition, where she has few peers. Born in 2080 Anderson is probably as far removed from Dredd’s ideal of what a Judge should be as can be imagined. She is an outspoken critic of many aspects of the Justice Department, displays her emotions, and has empathy for others. Particularly irritating to Dredd and the Justice Department’s rather strait‐laced leadership is her flippant, joking demeanour and ability to interact with other Judges on an informal level. Despite all that when the safety of Mega‐City One is threatened she is uncompromising and prepared to use both lethal psychic and physical force against any threats. This aspect of Anderson is respected by Dredd, and they have teamed up on numerous occasions. Contains 1 figure on foot and 1 mounted, in Warlord Resin.

The League of Fatties – Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

    ,
In the 2080s speed and volume eating, ‘scoffing’, became a competitive sport and extreme obesity became the desired body image for many Mega-City citizens. In retaliation to the percieved injustice of the food restrictions following the Apocalypse War, militant elements of the obese founded the ‘League of Fatties’ believing they had an inalienable right to food, which they would take by any means necessary. Whilst an individual Fattie might seem a less than threatening figure, the first food raids saw massed wedges of obese activists trundling forward supported by their BeliWheels®. With their layers of flab providing a natural armour against anything but the most lethal weapons, little could stop them once momentum was gained. Large numbers of ‘Skinnies’ and ‘Bones’ were crushed in the stampedes and from belly flops but, after the death of several Judges trying to protect a food storage facility, a crackdown was swift. Most Fatties were confined to special Fat Blocks, kept on strict diets for the maintenance of public order and their own protection until their weight fell below the 300-kilogram mark.

The ranks of the many Mega-City One gangs are made up of juves, punks, and lieutenants amongst others. Starting as early as the tender age of six years old, the majority of juves carry melee weapons although some may have low-grade firearms. Low-level gang members, punks are the foot soldiers of the organisation, acting as extra muscle when necessary. Gang lieutenants coordinate the day-to-day activities of the gang and are usually permitted to organise heists and run their own rackets as long as they bring in the creds and continue to show respect and fealty to the boss.

Block Gang Expansion Pack – Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

With unemployment and boredom rife in Mega-City One, many citizens, especially juves, join gangs. Many gangs identify with and recruit solely from a single block, whilst others pull in members from all across the city, attracted to the gang’s philosophy, colours, or charismatic leader. Many gangs will simply protect their own territory and try to take control of the local ‘black economy’ of illegal drugs and other banned substances such as tobacco, sugar, Umpty Candy and 20th-century comic books. Other gangs identify with causes or crazes, including the many anti-robot and anti-mutant outfits such as the ‘Neon Knights’ and ‘Purity First’ or anti-Judge and pro-democracy terrorism like the ‘Total War’ group. Street Judges Expansion Pack – Judge Dredd Miniatures Game

    ,
To the average Mega-City One inhabitant, the most obvious symbol of the power and authority of the Justice Department is the Street Judge. These formidable individuals are responsible for the strict enforcement of the law on the dangerous streets of the ‘Big Meg', where they act as judge, jury and executioner. Crimes ranging from littering to first-degree murder fall within their remit and the punishments of a perpetrator can vary from a stern word of admonition, a crack on the head with a daystick, to imprisonment in an isolation cube or, in the most serious cases, a Lawgiver execution round. Becoming a Judge is a lifelong undertaking and many individuals falter on the arduous path. Some end up on the streets disenchanted and bitter at what might have been whilst for many Street Judges Resyk will be their final destination.
