We are so excited to be holding another round of Pokemon Prerelease Events at EH Gaming in York and this time we are introducing the Destined Rivals set…

This is your chance to move ahead of the crowd and get your paws on cards from the new set 13 days before it actually releases by taking part in this event on Saturday 17th May, kicking off at 2pm.

Pokémon Trainers, be on high alert! The nefarious Team Rocket is setting its latest plan into motion, and heroic Trainers are racing to stop it. Join forces with the likes of Cynthia and Garchomp ex, Ethan and Ho-Oh ex, or Arven and Mabosstiff ex… Or reconsider your loyalties and fight alongside Team Rocket’s Pokémon like Mewtwo ex – under the command of Giovanni! Choose a side, assemble your allies, and battle boldly in the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet – Destined Rivals expansion!

Date: Saturday 17th May 2025
Registration: 1.30pm – 2pm
Kick Off: 2pm

This is a ‘Sealed’ event – every participant will receive a Build & Battle kit which contains a ready made 40 card deck and 4 Booster Packs for you to create your deck from. We will then play 3 rounds of matches with your new cards. You will receive an extra Destined Rivals Booster pack for each round of matches that you complete, so if you stay until the end then you will receive 7 booster packs in total for the event!

All ages and abilities are welcome to joint this event. Attendance is only available by purchasing a ticket on this website – there will be no walk-in spaces available on the day.
