The EH Gaming store in York was established in July 2020 and was the result of a midlife crisis and some very bizarre business decisions during the COVID lockdown months!
After fumbling through the first couple of years we eventually managed to find our feet and have become a firmly established and popular destination for gaming shoppers and players alike…check out our Google Reviews to see what folk think of us…
We offer a wide range of board games, TCGs, RPGs and tabletop miniatures games in our store and also run a busy list of official organised play in our 32 seat event room each week.
Our most popular ranges are Warhammer, Bolt Action (North Yorkshire’s largest stockist), Moonstone, Flesh & Blood TCG, Pokemon, Disney Lorcana, Magic: The Gathering, Star Wars Unlimited along with many, many more great titles…some you may not have heard of before!
Our current weekly Organised Play sessions are:
Pokemon League – Weds 6pm to 10pm
Disney Lorcana – Weds 6.30pm to 10pm
Star Wars Unlimited – Fri 6.30pm to 10.30pm
Magic: The Gathering – Friday 6pm to 10.30pm
Flesh & Blood TCG – Sat 1.30pm to 5pm
One Piece Card Game – Sat 2pm to 5pm
We also have Leagues running regularly for tabletop games such as Moonstone, Blood Bowl and Star Wars Shatterpoint. One day events are planned for Bolt Action, Middle-Earth Strategy Battle Game, Age of Sigmar: Spearhead, Warhammer 40K: Kill team, Warhammer Underworlds, Gaslands and more. Every month we run Blood on the Clocktower and there are some great RPG sessions available each week too…please follow us on social media to stay up to date.
We would love to have you visit soon…and it is easy enough even though we are out of town – the Coastliner bus service stops right outside and we also have loads of free car-parking. On-site facilities sch as bathrooms and drinks and snacks are also all sorted for you 😉
