    Bolt Action: US Marines

    ,
During the Second World War the US Marines spearheaded the American response to Japanese aggression, leading to a ferocious island-hopping campaign. The technologically superior US forces made many amphibious assaults that wore down the Japanese and culminated in crushing American victories albeit with terrible loss of life on both sides. US Marines in the Pacific Theatre of Operations were eager to get the job done be it with the bayonet, shotgun or their Thompson submachine guns. Their loyalty to their comrades and the Corps stood them in good stead as they faced a fanatical foe where no quarter was given no received. Semper Fi! This box contains 30 plastic infantry models, with a range of different weapons, heads and equipment. Included on each frame are rifles and carbines, sub machine guns, shotguns and Browning Automatic Rifles, plus there's a separate weapons frame with a bazooka and scoped rifle. • Platoon Commanders

Bolt Action: US Marines Weapons Teams

    , ,
Infantry weapons teams are a key component of any Bolt Action army, providing as they do great tactical flexibility for your force. Sniper teams, anti-tank teams and flamethrower teams are among the most prevalent, presenting your opponent with multiple challenges to overcome. The American Bazooka was first used in North Africa and on Tarawa in November 1942. The first version (M1A1) had two grips and a wooden support. By 1943 the new version was released which no longer had the front grip but had an improved electrical firing system. The final version was longer (1.55m) and improved the range from 200-250 yards to 300 yards. The M6 HEAT rocket could easily penetrate 76mm of armour at 30 degrees or 110mm at 90 degrees. The tasks of scouting and sniping were similar in American doctrines. In the US manual it was clearly stated that the duty of a sniper was to kill enemy officers in order to damage the morale of enemy troops. They were equipped with a telescopic sight on a M1903 bolt-action Springfield rifle, and also had close-combat weapons such as pistols and shotguns with which to defend themselves if discovered. Both members of the team had sniper training so the role of spotter was interchangeable. Flamethrowers were used throughout the war, especially in the Pacific, to clear out tunnels and bunkers. And to open gaps in fortified lines. Box contains:
    • Six Warlord Resin Figures
    • Plastic Bases
    • Three Order Dice

    Bolt Action: French Army Infantry

    , ,
The French army started World War II as the most powerful army in the world. Well-equipped, with excellent tanks and artillery, the infantry divisions were numerous and confident of fighting off the hated Boche as they had twenty-two years before. This was not the same war though, and the French infantrymen found themselves all too often fighting off German armoured units which had outmanoeuvred them as the Blitzkrieg rolled across Europe.  This incredibly versatile plastic boxed set allows you to assemble the miniatures as regular French Army infantry, fortress troops, chasseurs à pied, engineers or colonial troops (Algerian, Moroccan or Tunisian).  Box contains 30 multi-pose plastic infantry with plastic bases and full colour waterslide decal sheet.

Bolt Action Char B1 Bis Tank
Bolt Action Char B1 Bis Tank

Bolt Action: Char B1 Bis Tank

    , ,
Upgrading the Char B1, the Char B1 bis had thicker armour and an APX4 turret with a longer-barrelled (L/32) 47 mm SA 35 gun, giving it more anti-tank capacity alongside the 75mm hull-mounted howitzer. French experiences during The Great War influenced their belief a breakthrough tank would be needed in future conflicts, hence the design of the heavy Char B1 and B1 bis. This kit allows you to build French or German gun tanks or as one of two versions of German flammpanzers, it contains:
    • A French/German Char B1 bis tank
    • Bolt Action stat cards
    • Full-colour waterslide decal sheet
    • Vehicle damage markers
Among the most powerful tanks at the time, the Char B1 bis was very effective against German Panzers in 1940 during the Battle of France. However, slow speed and high fuel consumption made it ill-adapted to the more fluid style of warfare being fought at that time. With the fall of France, the victorious German military captured 161 Char B1 bis tanks and repurposed them under the nomenclature Panzerkampfwagen B-2 740 (f). Several were also converted into flame-throwing tanks.

Bolt Action: US Marine Corps Support Group

    , ,
Few fighting forces rival the hard-won reputation of the US Marine Corps. Showing their mettle during the island-hopping campaigns in the Pacific, and then to pushing the enemy back to their homeland, the US Marine had few equals in WWII. Facing the deadly combination of the fanatical Japanese enemy and the sweltering jungle conditions in which they fought, the US Marine Corps triumphed in actions which have become legendary – Guadalcanal, Tarawa, Peleliu, Iwo Jima and more. Within the claustrophobic confines of the hills and jungle environment over which they fought, the marines were reliant more on support weapons than on tanks. Medium machine guns like the M1917 and the 81mm medium mortar were vital to their success. Contains these metal models:
    • 1 officer with SMG and pistol
    • 1 US Navy corpsman medic treating a casualty
    • 1 medic with stretcher
    • 1 radio operator/spotter
    • 1 medium mortar team
    • 1 MMG team
