Bolt Action German Stug III ausf G (or StuH-42) Tank
Bolt Action German Stug III ausf G (or StuH-42) Tank

Bolt Action: German Stug III ausf G (or StuH-42) Tank

    , ,
The Sturmgeschütz (StuG) III was a well-armed and armoured vehicle based on the tried and tested Pz.Kpfw III chassis. Manned by the artillery originally, as it was considered a mobile howitzer, it went through many variants during WWII, and indeed was one of the few German AFVs to serve throughout the war on all fronts. The StuG III had good frontal armour, its low profile making it ideal for performing ambushes, presenting a poor target for return fire. It is armed with an efficient and powerful 75mm gun and carries an MG42 for close defence. The StuGs were welcomed by their infantry comrades, supporting their attacks with HE shells or knocking out enemy tanks to the extent that by the end of hostilities, they had amassed more kills than any other German vehicle. This highly detailed plastic kit can be built as either the StuG III Ausf G assault gun or as the 10.5cm Sturmhaubitze infantry support gun. Contents:
    • 1 plastic Stug - either 1 x Stug III ausf G or 1 x StuH-42
    • 1 decal sheet
This vehicle can also be used in games of Achtung Panzer!, the game of close-quarters tank-on-tank combat, its rules can be found in the Achtung Panzer! rulebook.

Bolt Action: British & Inter-Allied Commandos Starter Army

    , ,
Commandos fought in campaigns in Europe, Burma, Africa and earned battle honours for many famous actions including arguably the greatest raid of all – St Nazaire. Commandos were fielded in many different ways – from units of less than a full section up to full assault divisions depending on the task at hand. Superbly trained, aggressive in action, well-equipped and deadly in hand-to-hand combat the Commandos were rightly feared by their German, Italian and Japanese foes. Contains:
    • 36 multi-pose hard plastic commandos
    • One Centaur IV close support tank (resin & metal)
    • Metal miniatures for:
      • two officers
      • one medic

Bolt Action Char B1 Bis Tank
Bolt Action Char B1 Bis Tank

Bolt Action: Char B1 Bis Tank

    , ,
Upgrading the Char B1, the Char B1 bis had thicker armour and an APX4 turret with a longer-barrelled (L/32) 47 mm SA 35 gun, giving it more anti-tank capacity alongside the 75mm hull-mounted howitzer. French experiences during The Great War influenced their belief a breakthrough tank would be needed in future conflicts, hence the design of the heavy Char B1 and B1 bis. This kit allows you to build French or German gun tanks or as one of two versions of German flammpanzers, it contains:
    • A French/German Char B1 bis tank
    • Bolt Action stat cards
    • Full-colour waterslide decal sheet
    • Vehicle damage markers
Among the most powerful tanks at the time, the Char B1 bis was very effective against German Panzers in 1940 during the Battle of France. However, slow speed and high fuel consumption made it ill-adapted to the more fluid style of warfare being fought at that time. With the fall of France, the victorious German military captured 161 Char B1 bis tanks and repurposed them under the nomenclature Panzerkampfwagen B-2 740 (f). Several were also converted into flame-throwing tanks.

Bolt Action M3 Grant Medium Tank
Bolt Action M3 Grant Medium Tank

Bolt Action: M3 Grant Medium Tank

    , ,
Lead the charge with the M3 Grant Medium Tank! First seeing combat in British hands in 1942, the M3 Medium Tank was designed to serve as an interim tank while the M4 Sherman was developed and put into production. Despite this, it was by no means a poor vehicle, boasting excellent mechanical reliability and powerful firepower, albeit in a somewhat archaic layout. This kit allows you to build the M3, with the British-specification welded turret (known to the British in this configuration as the ‘Grant’), a powerful Medium tank for the mid-war period. In games of Bolt Action we treat the M3 as a Medium tank with a 9+ damage value, armed with a medium anti-tank gun in the hull, and a light anti-tank gun in the turret, plus a medium machine gun! You can also field the Grant in games of Achtung Panzer!, and its rules can be found in the Iron Coffins supplement. Whether in the Western Desert, the jungles of Burma, or defending Britain against a hypothetical invasion, you can do it with a Grant! Box contains one plastic M3 Grant medium tank, decal sheet, Bolt Action vehicle stat card, and vehicle damage markers.

Bolt Action Polish Infantry Squad in Greatcoats

Bolt Action: Polish Infantry Squad in Greatcoats

    , ,
Despite facing the double invasion of their homeland in 1939 by both Germany and the Soviet Union, the vastly outnumbered Polish military fought with bravery and tenacity. The Polish army in 1939 was large, well-officered and relatively well-equipped. It fought hard, but was entirely outmanoeuvred by fast-moving German armoured thrusts supported by all arms in a new dynamic style of war that a largely foot-slogging Polish army could not match. When the Soviets joined the fight and also invaded Poland, bisecting the country, it was too much for an already over-extended army short of armour and air support to hold out against – the end was inevitable. The Poles put up a dogged resistance to the two invading forces despite, in some cases, being utterly outnumbered. There were many desperate actions where the Poles fought the invaders to a standstill, and the stoic infantry held their ground whilst their dashing Polish cavalry caught the enemy by surprise. Equipped with Mauser rifles, great coats, and standard polish uniform. Warlord sculptor Wojtek brought these heroes to life in full kit, fighting in the early autumn of 1939. Contains a metal 10-man Polish Infantry Squad:
    • 1 NCO with rifle
    • 1 soldier with automatic rifle
    • 8 riflemen

    Bolt Action: French Army Infantry

The French army started World War II as the most powerful army in the world. Well-equipped, with excellent tanks and artillery, the infantry divisions were numerous and confident of fighting off the hated Boche as they had twenty-two years before. This was not the same war though, and the French infantrymen found themselves all too often fighting off German armoured units which had outmanoeuvred them as the Blitzkrieg rolled across Europe.  This incredibly versatile plastic boxed set allows you to assemble the miniatures as regular French Army infantry, fortress troops, chasseurs à pied, engineers or colonial troops (Algerian, Moroccan or Tunisian).  Box contains 30 multi-pose plastic infantry with plastic bases and full colour waterslide decal sheet.
