The Empire of Japan uses the power of stealth, the capability to phase through solid objects, and fanatical devotion to their cause to launch co-ordinated close-quarters attacks before fading away just as quickly as they had appeared.
This starter army is the perfect way to start your Empire of Japan collection for Konflikt ’47, arming you with an array of units, complete with Order and Rift Dice.
At the core of the starter army is an Assault Platoon. Led by an LMG-armed Platoon Commander in heavy powered armour (sculpt exclusive to this set), the platoon is anchored by a unit of Assault-Frame armoured infantry and a Ghost Attack Squad, capable of redeploying anywhere on the battlefield by exhausting a Rift Die, and bringing their Shiboru rifles to bear on an unsuspecting target!
A Sasori Light Walker lends its support at the head of an Armoured Platoon, supplemented by a Chi-Ha tank that has been reequipped with a Shiboru Cannon of its own. The combined weight of all the Crush weapons available across both platoons should give any tabletop foe cause for concern.

The Shibito Squads were relentless on the battlefields of 1947, immune to fear and programmed to fight until they collapse. US and Commonwealth troops found themselves under constant pressure in the remote battlefields of the Pacific Theatre. Without the need for food, water or even ammunition, the reanimated soldiers (note - not Zombies!) could range far behind enemy lines, sowing terror wherever they appear.
Carrying simple weapons, immune to pain and often bearing the faces of former comrades, the Shibito Squads are now spearheading the Imperial Japanese Army’s advances against the Allies across the Pacific Islands.

Using the technical data provided by Germany, the Japanese have made incredible advances in the field of molecular cohesion, creating a device that generates a small field capable of phasing out of sync with the material around it.
The military implementation of this research – the Ghost Attack Squads (Yurei Kogeki-Tai) – have proven highly capable of surprising Allied forces, attacking from unlikely directions or through the heaviest fortifications. Armed with rapid-firing compression rifles, a squad of Ghost soldiers can emerge from cover and lay down a significant weight of fire before retreating back through terrain, making any attempts at pursuit impossible.
