The armed wing of the Nazi Party, the extremely well-equipped Waffen-SS were rightly feared by their opponents – both for their fighting ability and uncompromising ferocity. This Support Group boxed set contains a selection of ubiquitous Headquarters Units and Weapons Teams to supplement your Bolt Action Army. Included in this set are:
- 2 Officers with pistol and sub machine gun – ideal for Company or Platoon Commanders of most types of Platoon.
- 2 man Forward Observer team & Medic, which can be included in any Rifle Platoon.
Also included are the following weapons teams that can be included in Heavy Weapons Platoons:
- 1 Medium Machine Gun Team with 3 crew
- 1 Medium Mortar Team with 3 crew

Tough, lavishly equipped and politically indoctrinated, SS troops formed over 38 divisions and numerous other regimental and battalion-sized units, totalling nearly a million men under arms.
Their armoured units won many plaudits for their actions, and although relationships between regular army units and the Waffen-SS were sometimes strained, most SS units fought ferociously, against great odds until the wars end in Berlin, 1945.
The Waffen-SS was a controversial organisation - their zeal and discipline could not be questioned although their many documented atrocities will perhaps be their greatest legacy.
