The first Pokémon video games, Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green, ​were originally released in Japan on February 27, 1996, launching an ​entertainment franchise loved by Trainers worldwide. ​

Since then, February 27 has become known as Pokémon Day, a time to ​come together and celebrate all things Pokémon!​

Pokemon are rewarding their best performing Leagues with an allotment of exclusive promo materials that will include special Pokémon Center exclusives for prizing and demo decks and because of our amazing community at EH Gaming in York we have made the list 🙂

Tuesday 27th February 2024 is the date and we hope to see you there – here are the details:

Time: 6.15pm
Tickets: £6.50

This is a mixed evening of activity – experienced players can take part in a competitive ‘Best of One’ tournament and we have some great prizes to give away, and collectors will enjoy the promo cards we have to give away as well as the opportunity to trade with other trainers.

If you are curious about learning to play the Pokemon Trading Card Game then we can teach you on the night and give you a free learn to play deck to take away with you.
