At the core of this hard-hitting force is the Assault Platoon, composed of a three-man Stahltruppen squad and five Nachtalben. The Stahltruppen are incredibly tough, and all but invulnerable to small arms fire - send them forwards and get stuck in - while the Nachtalben are fast-moving horrors, combining the intelligence of an elite soldier with a monstrous genetically modified body. Backing them up is an Armoured Platoon, with a scuttling Vogelspinne light walker ranging ahead of the line. This fast, versatile walker can be equipped with a wide variety of weaponry to fulfill different missions, and makes up for its light armour with serious mobility. Alongside it strides a Panzer IV Ausf. X. Marrying the proven Panzer IV chassis to six powerful legs and a Schwerefeld gravitational projector, this walking tank can crush enemy infantry and vehicles alike - literally - both at range and up close. Drop into hell on Earth - and come out the other side! These elite troops are used where surgical precision and lightning speed are called for, dropping behind enemy lines or as the vanguard of American assaults. Only the bravest and fittest men pass Firefly training, and their missions are some of the most hazardous imaginable. The Soviets developed a weapon utilising Ursine DNA to create an 8ft tall man/bear hybrid that could go toe-to toe with any enhanced infantry on the battlefields of 1947. Powerful, but lacking control, the Ursus soldiers were often unleashed in highly contested areas of the battlefield to tip the balance of favour towards the Soviet army. The Ursus are nearly unbeatable in combat, both tough and strong, they'll be able to hack down any enemy troops foolish enough to stand in their way. Give them supporting fire so they can advance unhindered or use a transport (a standard truck can carry 5 Ursus infantry) as an ideal way of getting this death squad in amongst the enemy front line. Let havoc ensue!

One of the original US walker designs, the Coyote bridges the gap between infantry heavy armour technology and larger walkers. Compact and mobile, and carrying a decent anti-infantry armament, these one-man vehicles are frequently used by US and Commonwealth troops in urban fighting. The Commonwealth Guardian variant is particularly specialised for this purpose, carrying a lethal flamethrower for use against dug-in enemies.
