    Decrypto

    , ,
Communicate safely! Join the greatest Encryptor team in the world! Your mission: transmit secret codes to your teammates without letting the opposing team intercept. Decrypto is a "scramble communication" game: you must give clues to your teammates that are precise enough, so they can understand you, but vague enough, to make sure your opponents don't get the message...
Games typically last between 4 to 7 rounds, and the rounds continue until a team collects either its second white mark (to win the game) or its second black mark (losing the game). If neither team has won after eight rounds, then each team must attempt to guess the other teams words. Which team guesses more words correctly, wins. A very entertaining and deservedly multi award-winning game.

    EXIT: The Stormy Flight

    , , ,
You are crew members on a passenger plane bound for Barbados. You have flown this route countless times already. Of course, you have experienced everything possible (and impossible) on these flights: technical malfunctions, turbulence, tour groups who are also flying to Hamburg, Berlin, London, or Amsterdam in order to visit so-called “escape rooms” there… But what’s waiting for you today is going to leave everything else in the dust. The weather service already announced that things might get a “little rough,” but now you find yourself in the kind of electrical storm that can easily throw even an experienced crew into a state of panic. The clouds are almost black, flashes of lightning rip through the dark sky, and rain pounds the engines. Suddenly, an alarm light comes on…and another…and you have a queasy feeling that the rest of the flight might become the greatest adventure that you have ever experienced. Escape room game with a difficulty level of 2 out of 5. **NB: This game can only be played once, because you mark up, fold and tear the game components...but it makes a great evening of entertainment while you do that!**

What Came First party game by Big Potato Games

What Came First – Big Potato Games

    , , ,
Pick a side. Place your bets Flush toilet or stop sign, mayo or ketchup, Statue of Liberty or Eiffel Tower… reckon you know which came first? Then it’s time to put your money where your mouth is. The more you wager, the more you win and the faster you move around the track – but get it wrong and you’ll be heading backwards in a hurry. The first team to cross the Finish Line wins. The team with the Dealer Chip goes first. They choose to either bet one, two or all three of their chips on the ‘correct’ side of the board. When they’ve locked their bet in, move clockwise around the table until all teams has placed their chips. Teams can risk a side bet if they’re feeling really confident by placing one chip on the Year Circle. If they choose the right side, and guess the correct year, it counts as five extra points. Now flip over the card to reveal the answer. If a team was successful, they move their piece forward the same number of spaces that they bet (plus the side bet if they got it right). If a team bet on the wrong side, however, they move backwards the same amount. For extra strategy and venom, every team is given a secret Time Token. At the beginning of the game, these tokens are dotted facedown around the board. These can be used to give a team a little boost, but some of them are traps. How do you know which is which? You have to land on them to find out! Once all the teams have moved, gather your betting chips, draw a new card and go again.

Bucket of Doom – Big Potato Games

    ,
The Death-Dodging Party Game Ever wondered how you would escape if you were swallowed by a whale or buried alive in an airtight coffin… with only an angry beaver and a foot-long hot dog to help you? Well, we’ve got something special for you. A delightfully dark party game known as Bucket of Doom. The game begins with a single scenario card. These cards describe a wealth of troublesome scenarios, such as “You wake up and you’re the back-end of a human centipede” or “You’re a sperm and you’re not winning this race”. Upon reading out the scenario, you are all (unfortunately) placed into peril. Each player has eight object cards at their disposal. The challenging part, however, is that these objects tend be as useless as possible, such as a “Duck Whistle” or a “Valentine’s Card for someone called Ian”. Armed with your arsenal of impractical objects, you must devise a cunning plan to escape the scenario at hand. Since the round ends with a vote for the most impressive getaway, you’ll need to get creative if you hope to come out on top. The perfect preparation for unexpected emergencies, Bucket of Doom is a constant reminder that when the s**t hits the fan, you need a plan.
