Rumbleslam: Knights of the Squared Circle Team
Rumbleslam, Tabletop Games, TeamsWith bodies looking like they were sculpted by the gods themselves, these hunks of pure muscle are as beautiful as they are terrifying. Meanwhile, the Wight Knight will defend everyone's honour within the Keep. Finally the Hobgoblins will do everything they can to put the attention onto their allies. If chivalry was delivering a knockout suplex, these knights have it in spades! Forming the foundation of The Keep, these knights are chiselled and ready for the ring. The Wight Knight is the WEIGHT 3 heavy heavy lifter of the team, with a pair of WEIGHT 1 Hobgoblins to support the stars of the team. The WEIGHT 2 Sir Flexer and Sir Poser form the bulk of the team. The Hobgoblin Squire and Hobgoblin Page are great support wrestlers for the team. Sir Flexer and Sir Poser are the powerhouses of the team; with a gold dice in their primary stats, they're sure to make their attacks connect. Shorts on the other hand has the high damaging Rope Ability Deadly Impact, which can hit almost any opponent, and dazes them for good measure. Rumbleslam, Tabletop Games, Tag TeamsWhy take a regular superstar when you can take two much smaller superstars instead? Bobby and Bill aren't just any goblins. For a start, their stats are a lot more reliable, and have good chances to deliver those important Beatdowns. Those stats aren't the end of it though, as the Small Goblin Syndrome Passive Ability makes them better at hurting anyone bigger than them! Bobby has the king of all Rope Abilities. Running Pitchfork can move across the entire ring, and when it hits, it hits everything in base contact! Bill on the other hand lacks a Turnbuckle Ability, but makes up for it with a decent Grapple Ability and Rope Ability, of which he can do BOTH in a single activation, with AP to spare! Rumbleslam, Tabletop Games, Tag TeamsCastor is the clear brawler, while Pollux gets tagged in later to grapple and throw opponents out. And tagging in and out is never a problem for these ladies, with their Tag Ability Turnbuckle Twins. One uses the other as a turnbuckle, launching them into the air, and then immediately tagging out afterwards. Don't forget to roll their Crowd Pleaser first though, as Castor's gives Pollux a bonus, and Pollux's gives Castor a bonus! And if you thought the twins didn't already work together perfectly in unison, have a look at their Zeus' Bargain Passive Ability. The Stargaters are the latest Space Gate wielding wrestlers to arrive in the Diamond Oasis. Colonel Russ' is a good all rounder but is the squishier of this tag-team. Good thing he's got Stargator's super tough scales to make up for it. Not only does Stargator have a solid defence, he's also got a Big Bite! A hefty attack that inflicts Bleeding. Being part Alligator, Stargator knows how to roll, with his Death Glider Roll leaving his opponents dizzy. Colonel Russ isn't without a few tricks of his own, for one he's brought a gun! Don't worry, it's only a Squirt Gun. Between his water pistol and Snake Eyes grapple, Russ can really put down some suppressive fire, dishing out -AP counters like he was in an action movie. Rumbleslam, Tabletop Games, TeamsA great team in themselves, the Mighty Madcaps make an excellent companion to the Green Bruisers. With five unique wrestlers, each brings something slightly different to your games of RUMBLESLAM. If you're looking to expand your greenskin collection, this is the perfect set! The lightweight category is represented by the Cannonballer, who is excellent at being thrown as live ammunition; and the Sporing Gobloom, who dishes out negative counters all over the place with Debilitating Spores. The Toadstool Peddlar is a bad Orc who loves nothing more than selling performance enhancing mushrooms to boost friendly wrestlers - mushrooms are pretty tricky though, so don't be surprised if something goes wrong! A Juicer is an orc who has taken one too many mushrooms and now the mushroom has taken complete control! It's an angry little mushy who is all about fighting and doesn't care much to defend itself. Finally the set is rounded out with the massive Henchroom (seriously, pictures don't quite capture just how massive this monster is). Rumbleslam, Superstars, Tabletop GamesMalfric Dross was not like most people. You see, Malfric Dross was a wizard of terrible power, or so he would tell you at least. When loan sharks from The Feral Den demanded payment for his debts within the next month, the conjurer decided to retreat to his lab. Cackling delightedly at his own genius, Dross forgot the first rule of summoning: don’t take your eyes off the creature. It was only a matter of seconds before the poor wizard was gobbled up by the terrible thing he had created. Soon, the loan sharks arrived and found only the creature sleeping soundly. Smiling maliciously, they noticed a discarded shoe and boxed the experiment up claiming his debt was paid. Forget what you know about how a RUMBLESLAM Superstar should act, because Experiment 2186 has entered the ring! Those stats are a bit weird. 3 Copper on each doesn’t really look that great. He’s fast and has lots of AP, but what else? What else indeed! - Experiment’s Crowd Pleaser allows him to remove one counter from any wrestler and place it on any other wrestler. That’s not only very useful, but hilarious! Is your wrestler Knocked Down? Not anymore! Now your opponent’s is!
- Finally, Twister of Fate is Experiment 2186’s Passive Ability. This ability allows him to re-roll any blank dice rolls (of course, no re-rolling a re-roll!). Remember all those Copper dice? Now that makes sense.
