Konflikt 47 Guardian Light Walker British Commonwealth

Konflikt ’47: Guardian Light Walker (British Commonwealth)

    , ,
After a personal request from Churchill to Roosevelt a number of Coyote light walkers were shipped to the United Kingdom in late 1946.Many were immediately deployed to the frontlines unmodified as the Guardian Mark I. While generally proving successful, reports from the field concluded that the Guardian's armament was lacking for its intended role as an infantry support vehicle. To address this a flamethrower was mounted in the walker’s left arm. Despite the added weight, performance was not affected. Named the Guardian Mark II in Commonwealth service, these machines serve alongside unmodified Guardian Mark Is, forming the bulk of the Commonwealth’s light walker forces. Contains one resin and metal miniature.

Konflikt ’47: British Commonwealth Cerberus Squad 1

    , ,
When the Totenkorps first arose on the battlefields of France in 1944 panic and terror gripped Commonwealth forces. Every advance became a nightmare. Any village, field, or wood could contain the corpses of the living dead. They might wait patiently until the frontline passed overthem so they could rise and strike at the vulnerable rear areas, or they might simply rend anything that came close. Commonwealth soldiers found that dogs could quickly sniff out the danger, but were driven so mad with terror they couldn't be relied upon. The controversial scientist Dr William Sargant championed the creation of Cerberus units, dogs surgically and chemically altered to suppress their fear instincts. Cerberus units are viewed as something of a mixed blessing, with some regiments adamantly refusing to deploy them. Contains one metal handler and three metal war dogs.

Konflikt 47 Inago Medium Walker Empire of Japan

Konflikt ’47: Inago Medium Walker (Empire of Japan)

    , ,
The deployment of USMC Grizzly medium walkers to the Pacific posed a serious tactical problem for the Japanese. Developing a similar medium walker to counter it entirely from scratch would be too time-consuming. Again, the Imperial leadership turned to their (then) Axis allies who offered to export a limited number of the Pz.Kpfg. VII Heuschrecke stripped of its gravitic jump assist modules. On inspection of the first units to arrive in Japan the Imperial military discovered that the missing weight of the modules actually benefited the walker’s speed and agility, making it ideal for both general combat and reconnaissance duties. Recently, Japanese reverse-engineering of Axis-supplied components has allowed a fully Imperial-built version of the Locust, the ‘Inago’, to be produced in the Home islands. Contains one resin & metal miniature

Konflikt ’47: Mahmot Heavy Walker (Soviet Bloc)

    , ,
Despite the successes of the Kazak light walker, Soviet forces experienced significant losses from every encounter with Axis heavy Panzer walkers. A swift countermeasure was necessary. The OKMO design bureau at the Bolshevik Factory in Leningrad was assigned the task of developing Objekt 231., a heavy multi-legged walker chassis derived from the Axis' Thor. Rather than opting for the Axis' complex sixlegged designs or the Allies' technically challenging biped configurations, OKMO produced a more straightforward and reliable quadruped chassis. Originally conceived as a mobile bunker, the designers revisited a multi-turret concept from OKMO’s titanic 1930s T-35 tank. Contains one resin and metal miniature.

Konflikt 47 Merlin Heavy Walker British Commonwealth
Konflikt 47 Merlin Heavy Walker British Commonwealth

Konflikt ’47: Merlin Heavy Walker (British Commonwealth)

    , ,
The Merlin represents the pinnacle of Commonwealth walker design by complementing its human crews with an onboard automated management 'brain' called Guinevere. In addition to its two fists, the Merlin utilises a 3” anti-tank gun as its main weapon. Arm mounted twin .50cal heavy machine guns and a hull-mounted medium machine gun are effective for dealing with infantry and light vehicles. However, it is the Guinevere automatic brain that makes the Merlin unique. It assists the crew in performing routine and mundane tasks operating the walker, but in battle it really comes into its own. The Merlin incorporates several complex self-repair systems controlled by Guinevere. Reacting faster than any human, it responds to damaging hits by activating backup systems, rerouting power or hydraulics and extinguishing fires before they can spread. Should the crew become temporarily incapacitated Guinevere can even pilot the walker for a short time. The Merlin is a truly remarkable design that has taken Allied walker capabilities to a new level. Contains one resin and metal miniature.

Konflikt ’47: Guards MK II Armoured Infantry (Soviet Bloc)

    , ,
Although the early heavy infantry armour fielded by the Soviets was both effective and functional, it was clear there was room to improve the design. Initial trials to convert the existing design to a more anti-infantry role were of limited worth and a new suit was commissioned to take advantage of increased understanding of the other nations’ Rift-tech advances. The Mark II suits benefit from more power assisted movement, and engineers are working on diversifying the purpose built armaments for the suit. Overall production rates are not yet satisfactory so the MK II suit has only had only limited rollout to the elite Guards units. Contains 8 metal models

Konflikt ’47: Soviet Bloc Starter Army

    , ,
NB: THIS IS A PREORDER PRODUCT AND RELEASES IN LATE NOVEMBER Take not a single step back with this Soviet Bloc force! The forces of the Soviet Bloc are hell-bent on sourcing their own Rift, but they are not without their own Rift ‘gifts’, gleaned from agents embedded deep in the scientific institutions of their hated foes. The renewed might of the Soviet war machine is powered by armoured walkers, terrifying genetic creations, and almost unparalleled manpower. The Soviet Bloc starter army is a perfect way to get started with a new army in Konflikt ’47, containing several signature Soviet units, complete with Order and Rift Dice. At the centred of the force is an Assault Platoon featuring two units of Ursus infantry, huge, utterly terrifying, and all but unstoppable at close quarters, equally capable of tearing flesh and armour to shreds. They are supported by a squad of Moroz Gul, who chill the very air around them and unleash Killing Mists that render a foe unable to fight back. The platoon is led by a Platoon Commander, waving a banner of the Soviet Bloc (this sculpt is exclusive to this set). An Armoured Platoon is also included, buoyed by the slow, yet heavily armoured ‘Molot’ walker, capable of dishing out high-calibre punishment to enemy vehicles. Finally a T34-ZP, a traditional tank modified with the Rift-derived Zvukovoy Preyektor weapon unleashes morale-shattering shockwaves across the battlefield.

Konflikt ’47: Empire of Japan Starter Army

    , ,
Strike from the shadows! The Empire of Japan uses the power of stealth, the capability to phase through solid objects, and fanatical devotion to their cause to launch co-ordinated close-quarters attacks before fading away just as quickly as they had appeared. This starter army is the perfect way to start your Empire of Japan collection for Konflikt ’47, arming you with an array of units, complete with Order and Rift Dice. At the core of the starter army is an Assault Platoon. Led by an LMG-armed Platoon Commander in heavy powered armour (sculpt exclusive to this set), the platoon is anchored by a unit of Assault-Frame armoured infantry and a Ghost Attack Squad, capable of redeploying anywhere on the battlefield by exhausting a Rift Die, and bringing their Shiboru rifles to bear on an unsuspecting target! A Sasori Light Walker lends its support at the head of an Armoured Platoon, supplemented by a Chi-Ha tank that has been reequipped with a Shiboru Cannon of its own. The combined weight of all the Crush weapons available across both platoons should give any tabletop foe cause for concern.

Konflikt ’47: British Commonwealth Starter Army

    , ,
Defend the Commonwealth! The opening of the Rifts has inured the people of Britain and its many overseas territories to new hardships of war. Enduring, British resolve is now at an all time high, and they stand ready to unleash their own new weapons of war upon the dread force of the Axis and the Empire of Japan. This starter army is the perfect way to begin a British Commonwealth collection for Konflikt ’47, arming you with a battle-ready force complete with Order and Rift Dice. Central to this force is an Assault Platoon comprised of two squads of Automated Infantry, a Mk I squad laying down a heavy weight of fire thanks to their MMGs, supported and uplifted by their heavy Mk II cousins, whose mere presence nearby improves their accuracy. Both units are immune to the psychological horrors of war and are implacable in the face of defeat. They are well supported by a power-armoured squad of human Galahad infantry. A Platoon Commander, exclusive to this set, leads this platoon from the front, armed with a personal Tesla Rifle. Backing them up is an Armoured Platoon, headed up by the new Percival Assault Walker. Packing an M17 Tesla Cannon and a Rocket system, it is a serious threat to anything that opposes it. A Humber Mk VII, fitted with the latest in auto-computational assistance and mounting twin automatic-cannons can fire on the move without penalty, and acts as an ideal supporting unit, using its mobility to quickly get where its most needed.

Konflikt '47 Axis Vogelspinne Light Walker

Konflikt ’47: Axis Vogelspinne Light Walker

    , ,
The Vogelspinne scuttles across the battlefield on six legs, bringing to bear a variety of deadly weapons that can be turned to any task. The Panzerkampfgeher II Vogelspinne started life as an improved 'heavy' variant developed from the Spinne by adding an extra pair of legs to reduce the wear on individual bearings that plagued the earlier design. The added complication of the drivetrain and gyroscopes necessitated lengthening the hull substantially and the project was dubbed the Pz.Kpfg. II Vogelspinne instead. The Vogelspinne retains the light anti-tank gun and 20mm autocannon weaponry of the Spinne but in a fully-enclosed, armoured turret. Provision has also been made to mount a Rift-powered Maschinen Schwere gravity weapon, or a twin light flak cannon mounting. The Vogelspinne kit can be assembled with a number of weapon configurations, so you can tailor it to the battlefield role you need and your specific playstyle – choose from an Anti-tank Gun, Twin Automatic Cannons, a Flamethrower, or the Maschinen Schwere gravity pulse weapon, which can be equally devastating against infantry or enemy vehicles if you make careful use of Rift Dice. The kit also includes a Vehicle Commander, but can be built with the turret hatch closed should you wish. This versatility of armament serves the Vogelspinne way when building a Konflikt ’47 Axis Army. With three pairs of legs, and the Recce special rule, it’ll have a hard time getting caught out too.
