Bolt Action: German Kriegsmarine Squad
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe men of the Kriegsmarine were often asked to do more than serve at sea. U-Boat and ship crews could be found in land actions in many theatres, wearing their trademark blue sailor’s uniforms or the grey-blue U-Boat leathers as they took the fight to the enemy. The German Navy (or Kriegsmarine) had the peculiar battle honour of being involved in the first action of WW2 and also its last. Infantry units of the navy, equipped with Wehrmacht weaponry and wearing their trademark dark blue uniforms and steel helmets, assaulted the Polish port of Danzig in the opening action of the war and, five years later, flew into the maelstrom of Berlin, landing in parks and on lakes using seaplanes or any other available transport aircraft. This time they were equipped with panzerfausts in an attempt to stave off the avenging Russian armour. They formed at least three divisions and some regular army officers were placed in the units to give them the value of their experience. They frequently fought under their usual officer, so a unit could be led by a Korvettenkapitän or U-Boat commander. They fought in Poland, Narvik, Russia, Dieppe, Arnhem, many of the cut off German garrisoned ports, as well as Holland and Berlin. The Welsh 53rd Division fought them regularly in Holland and found them full of fight, giving them the nickname of the "Blue Devils".Original price was: £26.50.£21.20Current price is: £21.20. -

Bolt Action: German Waffen SS Squad (Winter)
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesAlways at the forefront of the fighting, the Waffen-SS were well-equipped, even as the supply of new materials and weapons became more of an issue for the Third Reich as Allied bombing campaigns pummelled German industry. These figures are shown wearing a mix of the wool-lined M40 and fur-lined M43 parkas issued to Waffen-SS troops – the latter being available in grey, tan or Italian camouflage pattern. Bolt Action: Blitzkrieg German Support Group
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesBlitzkrieg HQ German officers were capable and often experienced leaders. Junior officers were trained to undertake the role of their own immediate superiors, enabling them to use their initiative to take control of situations when necessary. Blitzkrieg Medium Machine Gun Team The Germans were equipped with two excellent machine guns in the MG34 and rapid-firing MG42 – known to Allied troops as ‘Hitler’s Buzz Saw’ because of its distinctive noise, or ‘Spandau’. Unlike other armies, the Germans used the same machine gun both as a squad weapon from its bipod and as a tripod-mounted support weapon. The tripod mount provided a much more stable firing platform and made it easier to keep up a sustained fire using a belt feed. Blitzkrieg Medium Mortar Team The standard German medium mortar of the war was the 80mm Granatwerfer 34. It was a very effective and accurate weapon that could provide longer range, on-call fire support. It had a maximum range of 2,400 metres and could maintain a rate of fire of 15–20 rounds per minute.Original price was: £29.50.£23.60Current price is: £23.60. -

Bolt Action: Soviet IS-2 Heavy Tank
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesWhat do you do when you are told to upgrade an already giant metal monster that took a whole new generation of tank to actually deal with? You make it bigger and make it louder. The IS-2 is that very same beast, made as a competent replacement for the KV series and it was a far better designed machine than its predecessor. It had thick frontal armour and a huge 122mm gun, despite its size; the weight is comparable to that of the German Panther. The IS-2 was intended as a breakthrough tank so it was given a weapon suitable for such a task; and it broke through gloriously, right through the German lines and into the heart of Germany itself. In games of Bolt Action the IS-2 is a Heavy Tank with a heavy anti-tank gun that can be included in any armoured platoon. Box Contains:Original price was: £25.00.£19.99Current price is: £19.99.- Enough plastic components to make the IS-2 heavy tank!

Bolt Action: Tiger I Ausf. E Heavy Tank
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesAmongst the most feared tanks in the Second World War, the mere mention of the name 'Tiger' was enough to cause panic amongst Allied armoured formations. The Tiger was hurried into action on the Russian front as a response to the heavier Soviet tanks that had caught the Wehrmacht unawares. Its massive square body and rounded turret was an intimidating sight to enemy tankers. The armour was tremendously thick and made of quality steel, making it largely invulnerable, at least frontally, to anti-tank fire. Its potent 88mm gun was a deadly weapon, effective against enemy tanks up to three kilometres and also firing a lethal high explosive shell. This vehicle can also be used in games of Achtung Panzer!, the game of close-quarters tank-on-tank combat. Its rules can be found in the Achtung Panzer! rulebook.Original price was: £25.00.£19.99Current price is: £19.99. -

Bolt Action: German Flak 37 8.8cm
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesOriginally developed as an anti-aircraft weapon, the Flak 37 8.8cm (or Eighty-eight as it became known by Allied troops) had a high muzzle velocity to allow it to reach the higher ranges modern bombers were capable of at the time. This would make it an exceptionally deadly anti-tank weapon as many Allied tank crews would learn to their peril. The 88 could also be deployed as a conventional artillery piece – as one infantryman noted, the 88 was 'anti-everything'... Capable of firing in extremis whilst still attached to its wheeled carriages (although with limited traverse or elevation), the 88 could be fully deployed onto its cruciform firing platform and ready to fire in around two and a half minutes. Many 88s were fitted with a large gunshield although there were many examples of this being dispensed with. Being such a large and heavy weapon it could only be towed by larger prime movers such as the Sd.Kfz 7 halftrack. This Flak 37 kit is supplied with 8.8cm shells and shell cases and can be built to both traverse and elevate - neither enemy armour nor aircraft will be safe! Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThis Bolt Action set contains 1 x German Heer HQ (Winter), 1 x German Heer MMG Team (Winter) and 1 x German Heer Medium Mortar Team (Winter). Bolt Action: German Infantry (Winter)
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesAdolf Hitler’s aggressive campaigns across the world ensured his troops would face the enemy in all environments and climates. None were more unforgiving than the harsh winters on the Eastern Front or in the Italian hills and mountains. The resourceful German landser (common soldiers) often had to make do with little more than their standard issue woollen greatcoat, gloves, scarves and a steely determination to not only stave off the cold, but also be able to fight and win. These highly detailed plastic figures are ideal to represent German Infantry (Winter) – be they Heer or Waffen-SS – facing the enemy in cold weather or in the very depths of the bitter winter snows.
