Bolt Action: Japanese Type 91 So-Mo Armoured Car
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesAlso referred to as the Type 91 broad-gauge railroad tractor, the So-Mo has the unusual distinction of being able to quickly switch from road to rail. The So-Mo could achieve speeds of around 25 miles per hour on roads and almost twice that on railroads. Fielded by both the Imperial Japanese Army and the SNLF during World War II, the six-wheel-drive So-Mo also served in the 1937 Japanese invasion of China. The vehicle did not have integral weapons, but the crew often carried a 7.7mm machine gun that was fired through the observation ports in the turret. Despite its light LMG armament, the So-Mo provides a relatively inexpensive armoured car for a Japanese force, which has the dual benefit of being able to transport six infantrymen across the battlefield. It is particularly useful if the battlefield contains any railroads! Box contains one resin & metal Type 91 So-Mo Armoured Car in its road configuration, decal sheet, and vehicle damage markers.Original price was: £30.00.£23.99Current price is: £23.99. -

Konflikt ’47: Ghost Attack Squad (Japan, 2026 Version)
Konflikt 47, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesUsing technical data provided by the Axis and their own line of research, Imperial Japanese scientists have created devices that generate a field capable of temporarily phasing objects or people out of sync with the world around them. The land-based military implementation of this research – the Ghost Attack Squads – has proven adept at surprising Allied forces, literally appearing from the shadows to attack from unlikely directions or through the heaviest terrain. Armed with Shiboru compression rifles, a squad of ambushing Ghost soldiers can lay down a significant weight of fire before vanishing back into dense terrain, making attempts at pursuit futile. Contains 5 Warlord Resin models armed with Type 10 Shiboru Rifles.Original price was: £25.00.£19.99Current price is: £19.99. -

Bolt Action: Japanese Type 97 Isuzu Truck
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe Japanese Light Truck Type 97 was based on the Isuzu truck TX40, sharing parts common to the Type 94 Truck. The Type 97 could be found in almost all areas of the Pacific war as a principal truck for the IJA until the end of the war. Japanese trucks were inclined to be narrow to suit local roads and had high ground clearance to cope with uneven surfaces. They tended to be quite heavy compared to British equivalents and some were almost exact copies of the 1939 Chevrolet. In Bolt Action, the Type 97 counts as a Light Truck, an inexpensive and reliable way to transport up to 8 men across the tabletop, or tow lighter artillery pieces. Box contains one resin & metal Type 97 Isuzu Truck, decal sheet, and vehicle damage markers.Original price was: £30.00.£23.99Current price is: £23.99. -

Bolt Action: Japanese Isuzu Type 98 AA machine cannon carrier
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe Isuzu Type 98 AA Machine Gun Carriers married a Type 98 20mm automatic cannon with the back of a Type 94 or (later) a Type 96 six-wheeled truck. The Type 98 20mm autocannon was the most common light anti-aircraft gun of the Imperial Japanese Army, with a range of 5,500 metres, and could fire up to 300 rounds a minute. These self-propelled anti-aircraft guns were not mass-produced, the few that saw service were deployed in the air defence units of Japanese tank divisions. The Type 98 AA truck provides a Japanese force with its sole dedicated anti-aircraft option. It is armed with a platform-mounted light automatic cannon with the Flak special rule, but is equally deadly if turned upon ground-based infantry or lighter vehicles! Box contains one resin & metal Type 98 AA Machine Gun Carrier, decal sheet, and vehicle damage markers.Original price was: £33.50.£26.80Current price is: £26.80. -

Bolt Action: Japanese Type 4 Ho-Ro Self-Propelled Gun
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesInspired by German self-propelled guns the Type 4 Ho-Ro assault gun was based on a reinforced Type 97 Chi-Ha tank chassis. The Type 4 Ho-Ro mounted the Type 38 150mm howitzer. Surrounding the front of the howitzer was 25mm of armour plating – the open rear leaving the crew susceptible to close combat and shrapnel. The 150mm gun predominantly fired Type 88 APHE (armour-piercing high explosive) rounds although it could also fire HEAT (high explosive anti-tank) shells. Ammunition was stored in a container on the rear engine deck. Rushed into service towards the end of World War II, the Ho-Ro was deployed in batteries of four vehicles. It saw action during the Philippines Campaign and during the American assault on Okinawa where it was heavily outnumbered by US artillery assets. Bolt Action: Japanese Type 1 47mm Anti Tank Gun
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe Type 1 47mm AT gun was developed following the Japanese encounter with Russian armour and was the first indigenously developed dedicated anti-tank gun. It lacked the performance of other contemporary weapons of similar calibre, but was deemed sufficiently capable against lightly armoured tanks. By the time it was introduced in 1942, it was therefore already outdated. The same gun was used as the main armament of the Type 97 Chi-Ha Shinhoto tank. It was also used by Japanese paratroops – dropped disassembled in separate containers.Original price was: £19.00.£15.20Current price is: £15.20. -

Bolt Action: Japanese Teishin Shudan Paratrooper Squad
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesJapanese paratroopers – Teishin Shudan (raiding group) – proved highly effective in the early years of the war. German successes with paratroops during 1940 encouraged the Japanese to develop their airborne arm as a constituent part of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force (IJAAF). They were initially deployed in the Dutch East Indies during the Battle of Palambang in February 1942. A regiment of paratroopers dropped onto Palambang airfield, whilst another captured the town and its oil refinery. High casualties amongst the paratroopers discouraged further deployment by air, and the Teishin Shudan subsequently fought as elite infantry formations – much as their German counterparts did.Original price was: £26.50.£21.20Current price is: £21.20. -

Bolt Action: Japanese Army Support Group
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe men of the Imperial Japanese Army were excellent soldiers, with extraordinary devotion to their country and their Emperor. Battle-hardened by years of war in Manchuria, the Japanese army was well-disciplined, led by seasoned officers, and watched over by the dreaded Kempei-tei political officers. Japanese soldiers gained an air of invincibility in the early years of the war as they conquered Thailand, British Malaya, Singapore, and Hong Kong, the Dutch East Indies, and most of the American Philippines. Fanatical loyalty and iron discipline were the core of the Imperial Japanese Army ethos, and although it didn't have the same level of heavy weaponry and vehicles as their Allied opponents they were well supported by the likes of the Type 92 medium machine gun and Type 97 medium mortar. Bolt Action: Japanese Special Naval Landing Force
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesThe Japanese Special Naval Landing Forces (SNLF) were the marine troops of the Imperial Japanese Navy. Due to the deep distrust the Japanese Army and Navy had for each other, joint operations were all but out of the question and the Navy created the Special Naval Landing Forces as a result. First seeing action in 1932 during the 'Shanghai Incident' of the Sino-Japanese War, the SNLF were highly trained, high quality troops with excellent morale. Each SNLF formation was named after the base in which it as formed. This plastic and metal set contains parts to make 32 SNLF. It includes plastic Japanese Infantry sprues plus metal parts with new heads for every model (including an officers tropical hat and a sailor's cap). The set also includes equipment packs including their distinctive gas-masks. There are also two new metal bodies as well as arms firing a pistol and wielding a ceremonial sword. The set is rounded off nicely with the full-colour sheets of flags and devotional banners - great to hang from weapons as they take Emperor's word to the enemy... Bolt Action: Japanese Bamboo Spear Fighter Squad
Bolt Action, Tabletop Games, Warlord GamesAs the Second World War progressed, Japanese forces were pushed back from the territorial gains they had made in the early stages of the war. With Allied bombing and ground campaigns hampering Japanese industry the Emperor’s soldiers learnt to use whatever materials were at hand to face the enemy, as firearms and ammunition became ever more scarce. This would see Japanese soldiers sacrificing themselves with grenades, a courageous last ‘banzai’ charge with swords drawn, or using sharpened lengths of bamboo as makeshift spears. The fanatical devotion to their Emperor, their country and their honour led many brave Japanese soldiers to such lengths. Allied troops were both in awe and disbelief of such heroics as the Japanese assault would more often than not perish in the face of sustained Allied firepower. Yet still the Japanese attacked... The figures in this boxed set represent a squad of desperate but proud Japanese soldiers in the remnants of their uniforms, bedraggled and unkempt yet not bowed by their situation or likely fate.
