Though teams like the X-Men and Avengers would literally kill to have someone like me on their roster, I, the aforementioned Wade Wilson, a.k.a. Deadpool, remain los lobos - a lone wolf who hunts the moonlight desert in search of the only meal that will satisfy my endless hunger - justice! Also, they haven’t been returning any of my calls or emails… A cowardly young man, Bob was persuaded to join the criminal organization Hydra by his wife, who accused him of not being able to hold down a steady job. The thought of a stable career with a dental plan also appealed to Bob, though he was ultimately disappointed to find out that Hydra does not, in fact, offer full dental like A.I.M. Bob’s life was forever changed when he met Deadpool during the Merc with a Mouth’s assault on his outpost. Deadpool convinced Bob to assist him with his mission and the two became lifelong partners. The block war campaign allows players to marshal their forces, from common citizenry to the (self-proclaimed) elite forces of the Citi-Def, and then play through a number of battles that show the key moments of the block war. As the war escalates, new scenarios are unlocked, damage can be done to the enemy block, and with enough of a rival effort, you may just be able to destroy the physical foundations of a block and send it crashing into City Bottom in a fiery cloud of dust, rubble, and falling citizens.

    In the 2080s speed and volume eating, ‘scoffing’, became a competitive sport and extreme obesity became the desired body image for many Mega-City citizens. In retaliation to the percieved injustice of the food restrictions following the Apocalypse War, militant elements of the obese founded the ‘League of Fatties’ believing they had an inalienable right to food, which they would take by any means necessary. Whilst an individual Fattie might seem a less than threatening figure, the first food raids saw massed wedges of obese activists trundling forward supported by their BeliWheels®. With their layers of flab providing a natural armour against anything but the most lethal weapons, little could stop them once momentum was gained. Large numbers of ‘Skinnies’ and ‘Bones’ were crushed in the stampedes and from belly flops but, after the death of several Judges trying to protect a food storage facility, a crackdown was swift. Most Fatties were confined to special Fat Blocks, kept on strict diets for the maintenance of public order and their own protection until their weight fell below the 300-kilogram mark.
