Malfric Dross was not like most people. You see, Malfric Dross was a wizard of terrible power, or so he would tell you at least. When loan sharks from The Feral Den demanded payment for his debts within the next month, the conjurer decided to retreat to his lab. Cackling delightedly at his own genius, Dross forgot the first rule of summoning: don’t take your eyes off the creature. It was only a matter of seconds before the poor wizard was gobbled up by the terrible thing he had created. Soon, the loan sharks arrived and found only the creature sleeping soundly. Smiling maliciously, they noticed a  discarded shoe and boxed the experiment up claiming his debt was paid. Forget what you know about how a RUMBLESLAM Superstar should act, because Experiment 2186 has entered the ring! Those stats are a bit weird. 3 Copper on each doesn’t really look that great. He’s fast and has lots of AP, but what else? What else indeed! There are three abilities you should know about:

1. Taste The Pain is his Grapple Ability which, if successful, removes any Crowd Pleaser bonuses from the target! Ouch!
2. Experiment’s Crowd Pleaser allows him to remove one counter from any wrestler and place it on any other wrestler. That’s not only very useful, but hilarious! Is your wrestler Knocked Down? Not anymore! Now your opponent’s is!
3. Finally, Twister of Fate is Experiment 2186’s Passive Ability. This ability allows him to re-roll any blank dice rolls (of course, no re-rolling a re-roll!). Remember all those Copper dice? Now that makes sense.

Experiment is such a weird wrestler, it’s hard to see exactly where he fits in with any teams. His brilliantly chaotic nature fits perfectly with fellow Feral Den stars The Raging Beasts, but his Crowd Pleaser also is a really solid defensive ability, meaning he provides great support for teams like The Cryptborn Nightmares or The Green Bruisers. Considered one of the toughest wrestlers, Shamblefist is a strange creature of unknown origin. His body is an amalgamation of fungus and a mud-like substance that can shift from liquid to solid in an instant. The shifting form of this primordial powerhouse has led to some truly incredibly signature moves coming into creation. Fans have witnessed Shamblefist turn entirely into mud before surging into his opponent with the force of a rockslide, knocking them out of the ring! Shamblefist! He’s green! He’s made of a swamp! He’s basically the best! If you’re playing offensively, Shamblefist’s special abilities have so many rules you’ll always find something to use your AP for. Playing defensively is also an option though, as Spore Burst gives every enemy wrestler within 2 squares a –AP counter and –MP counter (which can be increased to 2 of each with his Crowd Pleaser!). Anyone that’s played against Rottergut will know how powerful an ability like that can be. Shamblefist can also form the lynchpin of a team, as his Shambler Passive Ability means he can be used as a walking turnbuckle! That’s right, just like the Treeman, but for ANY wrestler. Oh wow. Any wrestler with a great Turnbuckle Ability that doesn’t get used often because it takes multiple rounds is in luck, because they can do it without using an AP to climb Shamblefist. So who is he good for? Well anyone really. He’s just so good. 350K is a lot, but for what you get, he’s worth the cost. Even just without thinking about the synergies he’s a brilliant character, but add in Shambler and he becomes next level good. Obviously he’s a brilliant wrestler for any Forest Soul team (Treeman + Shamblefist = Turnbuckle mania), and is also excellent for The Deadly Divas (High Flyer + Shamblefist = Turnbuckle mania), or even the humble Heavy Pounders (Ogre + Shamblefist = well you get the idea). The Nut, (or inmate #0142) has received more suspensions and bans than any two wrestlers combined. In his debut match, the crazy superstar not only beat his opponent but ended their career with a truly terrifying display of rage and psychotic fury. It took several officials and wrestlers to pull him away from his opponent as he bit the air and gnashed his teeth like a rabid dog. Laughing, The Nut rubbed his spit-speckled chin against his shirt and left the ring without another word. The Nut has bounced into the ring, and our hearts! Alright, maybe not our hearts. The Nut is a really unique wrestler (in a game full of unique wrestlers) because his arms are tied up! While he has a very high GRP value (because he’s so hard to catch), he’s unable to Grapple, Lift, or Throw. So that means The Nut is all about damage! 6 MP and 5 AP means he’s going to be a real thorn in your opponent’s side, with High Flyer and Leaping Lunatic, he’ll be all over the ring! The Nut suits a fast team, which is why he’s a perfect fit in Gomorrah, but he’d also do well teaming up with The Runic Thunder or another team that could use a boost of speed and damage. Where most men might shy from adversity, this superstar yearns for it. The Greek is a fierce fighter determined to battle foes when the odds are well and truly stacked against him. Tenacity given form, he will accept any and all matches. In fact, during an interview he declared his intent to take on an entire casino. The audience jeered and laughed at his statement but were met with a stoic expression of self-confidence. He has yet to receive his match, but barely a fight goes by without him shouting his challenge! THIS! IS! RUMBLESLAM! The Greek enters the ring! He’s a solid all-rounder with some incredibly powerful abilities, and makes a great addition to any Kaiser’s Palace team. Hell Hold reduces enemy MP to 0, and Big Kick can fly all the way across the ring before booting an opponent out! And don’t even think about trying to throw The Greek from the ring, as No Surrender, No Retreat means he’s rolling 3 Gold dice to save himself! A slippery superstar possessing a cool demeanour, Ice has chilled the hearts of his opponents for years. Men and women can’t help but shiver as he makes his glacial way towards the stage where his powerful figure gleams in the limelight. Try as they might to grapple or lift his monstrous mass, his glassy exterior seldom allows opponents to find purchase, whilst his hard as steel hide deflects all but the strongest of blows. It's Ice! Yes! I love Ice. He's brilliant. What he may lack in grappling and dodging, he more than makes up for in Defence. And defending himself isn't all he's good for! His Glacial Skin Passive Ability makes him extremely hard to grapple, and The Wall is a Passive Ability that allows him to share his Defence value with any wrestler in base contact. Just think on that for a second. You can take high offensive wrestlers or great grapplers, then just hug up to Ice and be extremely difficult to take out. Ice is a Free Agent, which means you can use him in any team without losing your Sponsorship Bonus. So what teams is he best in? The Raging Beasts and The Green Bruisers benefit a huge amount from his presence, as he counters their low defence stats. Green Grables is older than stone and wiser than the wind. For as long as she can remember she lived among the countless trees and brooks in peace. One fateful day a man entered her forest and brought with him an army of machines and men. They tore her home to the ground in a handful of days and slaughtered her sisters. In place of her beautiful woods they built a casino for a sport called RUMBLESLAM. The anger inside her swelled and grew into a maelstrom waiting to be unleashed within the ring. If you're a Timber Fists player thinking: “My Sprites are great at healing, but not really at fighting... is there anything I can do about that?” Well then I've got good news! Green Grables can heal friendly wrestlers, and still deal out damage like an Amazonian! It's like someone (me) took the two best facets of your team and smushed them together. You're welcome. The Thespian’s fame started before he entered the RUMBLESLAM arena. He was a talented and promising young actor; many believed he would become the next big theatre star. As his success grew, so did his ego, along with a terrible rage if things did not go the way he wanted. It is even rumored that he had a theatre critic killed because of a bad revue of one of his performances. The rumours forced The Thespian to seek out other arenas where he could make a name for himself, his newfound taste for physical pain not something found in the theatre world. The Thespian is a superstar like no other. A great statline is complemented by some fantastic special abilities, including a Crowd Pleaser that gives all friendly wrestlers +1AP, and an Active Ability that knocks enemy wrestlers’ attacks down when targeting The Thespian, as well as boosting his Attack up too! More than anything though, Intimidating Aura defines what The Thespian is all about. When rolling Crowd dice (for whatever reason), a Boo helps you out by giving -1AP counters to your opponents, but a Blank automatically ends his activation. The Thespian doesn’t care if the crowd are cheering or booing, but hates it when they’re not paying attention to him! As a Free Agent, The Thespian will go in any team, provided they can give him his moment in the spotlight! His Crowd Pleaser, speed, and all round usefulness really benefit most teams, but particularly The Deadly Divas, as the Entertainer can really help him get the attention of his fans! The man now known as Dicephaurux was once a proud and powerful warlord. His arrogance was so great that he couldn’t stand the idea of being weaker, slower or less intelligent than anyone else. It was this hubris that lead him and his servant to the abandoned shrine of an unknown god to wish for power. Offering vast riches to the altar, he begged for the power of two men so that he would never again be lesser! Pain blossomed inside his chest and he passed out from the agony. Waking, the man rose to find himself large beyond belief! But as he looked about he saw the grotesque head of his manservant beside his own, melded into his own body and bearing a vacant expression. Wow! Look at all those Gold dice! Dicephaurux is truly the golden god. Dicephaurux is tall and lanky, with no meat on his bones! That means low Stamina, but he’s really reliable with so many Gold dice and +1s as well. His Better Than One ability allows him to ignore the first attack that would KO him, so he’s not frail! He can also boost up his attacks with Bleeding and Dazed or Fury depending on which of the Two Heads you choose, so he’s a character with lots of options. If you want to bring some bling to your Feral Den teams, look no further! Or if you’re after a wrestler you can rely on for a very low cost, he’s a great choice! This dwarf has managed to break every single rule in the Rumbleslam handbook during his career in the ring. It was apparent when he joined that he wouldn’t conform to the social norm that was expected of wrestlers, but Gomorrah saw a spark inside him that they knew would draw in a crowd. A member of a notorious biker gang, he was known as Lord of Anarchy long before becoming a star. A mean biker dwarf! Just when you thought they'd all been eaten by aliens. Wait, what? Nothing. Lord of Anarchy has the typical Dwarfen hardiness and lack of speed, but also adds in a stunning offensive capability. Choke Chain is a Grapple attack that gets straight through your opponent's GRP stat, cutting out on their dice to deliver its punch. And Falling Angel can up its already potent Shove 4 special rule into a Throw 2 after a successful Crowd Pleaser, which can single-handedly win you games! Where else would a Dwarf like this live if not the depths of Gomorrah? Get over your prejudices and include him in a Twisted Shadows team for some sturdiness, or pair him with The Timber Fists as a rough and ready bodyguard for your Sprites! RUMBLESLAM is filled with proud warriors itching to test their mettle against strong opponents, but few are more proud than Trojan. He comes from a land ravaged by war and conflict, a land that forged him into the weapon he is today. A natural leader, frightening tactician and mighty combatant, Trojan fights with a casual ease that makes even the most confident of opponents take heed. The pressure this superstar emits in the ring has been known to steal the senses from his foes. In fact, in an after match interview one of his victim’s spoke of the experience: “I couldn’t see, couldn’t hear and couldn’t think. I-I was just, there. Just there waiting for him to finish me off." The dour Trojan is as reliable a wrestler as they come, doing well in any situation he finds himself in. For a measly 275K you're getting a great all-rounder who is almost impossible to throw out. His special abilities really shine through though. They're subtle, but can make all the difference in a match. Gift Horse is a great Turnbuckle Ability, as if it is successful, the target loses any active Crowd Pleaser bonuses. That's a BIG DEAL, particularly against certain superstars that shall remain nameless – it's Phage. I'm talking about Phage. Finally, his Blind, Deaf, or Dumb Passive Ability means you select an enemy wrestler to receive a de-buff for that round. You can lower their DEF, stop their Crowd Pleasers doing anything (take that Phage! I hate you so much), or – and this is the big one – make a wrestler lose every special rule from all of their abilities. Trojan is a man without a casino. A Free Agent can be taken by any team without losing their sponsorship bonus, so feel free to add him anywhere! The subtle effects of his abilities mean he is a really useful wrestler to have in reserve. If you know you'll be facing lots of superstars, he's a really invaluable asset to any team! They say you’ve never seen a show until you’ve seen Gun fight. An orc of a different kind, Gun is far different to the rest of his race in the ring. Unlike his bloodthirsty brethren this charismatic orc is there to entertain. A master of ceremony he thrives under attention and can often be seen pleasing the crowd with poses, chants and shows of power! This superstar is adored by his followers who go time and time again to see his exploits. I mean, we all know who this is. Do I really need to write a thing here? You clicked on a massive Orc that looks like... well yeah, you know who. You're already going to buy it aren't you? I don't blame you. I bought one too. If you want a great Rolling Bones wrestler who may Hulk Out when he's down on his luck... no one's still reading are they? You're already waiting by the door for your parcel aren't you? Everybody is said to have a spirit animal: a creature who guides and steers them towards the right choices in life. It isn’t uncommon for people to find their animal, but it is very rare for that creature to manifest on the person! Since an early age, The Chief has been able to manifest and utilise the abilities of his spirit animals; the mighty bear, the swift eagle and the relentless coyote. On the surface, The Chief may not look like much. But I challenge you to find a better wrestler that has 5AP and 5MP for such a good price. The real draw for The Chief is his array of Spirit Animal bonuses. With three to choose from, each offers a stat-boosting ability for that round, meaning you can power him up for the task at hand. And if he passes his Crowd Pleaser, he gets to pick 2 different animals like some kind of weird chimera! The Chief is a Free Agent, meaning any team can take him without losing their sponsorship bonus. He works best in an all or nothing kind of team such as The Twisted Shadows or Green Bruisers where his balanced skills get the most use. With no glaring weaknesses and the ability to change roles depending on the situation, he's a great Superstar for beginners. The Statesman is as much a fan of wrestling as he is a superstar. Growing up watching the heroes of old in the ring, the young wrestler trained his body with painful tenacity. He was soon the picture of perfection. Joining the ring at eighteen, his selflessness and devotion to the sport fast became a shining example that inspired countless fans. From looking at his stat card, it's obvious that Statesman is a great all-rounder. He makes a great centre-piece for any team, his unassuming look hiding a solid line up of skills. With a regenerative ability on all KO'd wrestlers for his Crowd Pleaser, and his Shield Passive Ability giving close friendly wrestlers his awesome Defense, Statesman is at his best when helping out team mates. With a great all-round stat line and hailing from Kaiser's Palace, he's the perfect companion to The Heavy Pounders, or any team with low Defense and low Stamina WEIGHT 1 wrestlers. “People everywhere know about the great martial artist and superstar Toothpick. A fighter so deadly and calm even the bravest of wrestlers think twice before attacking him. Few people on the other hand know about his old pupil Botticelli. Botticelli - along with his brothers - was a prodigy, a brilliant fighter who studied hard and mastered techniques others could only dream of. But Toothpick sensed something inside him, something dark. When the young turtle was confronted with this information, he rebelled and spat harsh words at his master. So it was that he was exiled, kicked out of the dojo. The harshness of the punishment never left him and his mind turned to cruelty.” He's got natural toughness from his shell, and is quick to boot. Also, he's one of the only Heel wrestlers in the Forest Soul. With his high DEF value and the Heel in a Half Shell passive ability giving him re-rolls to Defence rolls, your opponent will be very put off even basic attacks! Keep him away from Grapplers though, or just use any of his many special abilities to get the drop on them!
