Marvel Crisis Protocol

Confront a new crisis in the cosmos for Marvel: Crisis Protocol! This Character and Crisis Card Pack includes 5 new Extract Crisis Cards and 5 new Secure Crisis Cards all around the events which occurred in the War of Kings storyline. Also included, is the mighty Gladiator! Jump into this campaign and mission set for Marvel: Crisis Protocol! In addition to all new Crisis Cards players can add to standard Crisis Protocol games, this pack introduces a new campaign system which plays through 5 narrative missions constructed through pairings of the Crisis Cards in this pack.

Christoph Nord, currently known as Maverick, has led a life of twists and turns. Left with few options other than mercenary work, he eventually found his way to the Weapon X Program. After first entering the program, he finds himself returning time and time again, never able to escape its grasp for long. Wolverine’s modern origin is considered to start with the Weapon X Program. Able to heal from nearly any wound, he was the perfect specimen to undergo the experimental process of fusing the metal known as adamantium to his skeleton. The program did manage to create the nigh-indestructible soldier it was aiming for, but they came to regret making the savage, uncontrollable weapon known as Weapon X.

“Your pitiful display is nothing to my new-found power!” Emil Blonsky was attempting to steal secrets from a military base when he was hit by a massive dose of gamma radiation that was supposed to destroy the Hulk. An unknown mutation saved him from certain death but turned him into the Abomination, a grotesque and massive creature of immense strength and durability able to rival the Hulk himself. They have fought many times over the years leaving a trail of destruction across the planet. Dirk Garthwaite was the Wrecker before his defeat at the hands of Thor and his power sealed into a crowbar. In prison, he met Dr. Eliot Franklin, Henry Camp, and Brian Calusky who worked with him to escape and recover the enchanted crowbar. The four men together held the crowbar during a thunderstorm until a bolt of lightning struck and unsealed the power within it. That power was distributed to them, restoring the Wrecker and creating Thunderball, Bulldozer, and Piledriver. The four men are now known as the Wrecking Crew–a team of Super Villains capable of great destruction and mayhem.
